That's who I think are most likely to go, tho obviously not all 3 keepers in there. Either one of Jones or Doni will stay.  Probably Jones to stay of the two.

That list would be roughly be my guess as well. While understandable will be sorry to Dirk and Maxi go who both make very handy squad players

Doni  might go but theres talk of us keeping 4 keepers next season due to what happend this year, we are looking at a new un named keeper who is meant to be a great young find.

So we experience some sort of bizarre, Twilight Zone, once-in-a-million convergence of cosmic craziness in which we are forced to play our third-choice keeper in a cup semi-final (and, yet, still win!  :buttrock ) and somehow that is meant to have inspired someone (who?  Kenny?  John Henry?  The tea lady?) to decide we need to have four keepers kicking around Melwood next season...just in case it happens all over again (only worse, because we somehow found our first three keepers on a red this time)?  :Oo:

You do beggar belief sometimes Lakes.

the club said what happend was unforeseen and its something that we should keep in mind from now on, with this new young keeper that we are looking at it would mean having 4 keepers at the club, we could see Jones go out on loanbut have it in the contract that he must report back if called, I know some clubs this year have had prblems calling back on loan players as it was not of their contract with the other club.

I'm guessing the club said this on Twitter lakes or SSN or was it the journos on Sunday Supplement or did one of the players says it.

Aurelio, Adam, Spearing, Downing, Carragher, Wilson, J.Cole are that I'd like to see go this summer.

In reality, I'd be shocked with Adam, Carragher and Downing were sold in the summer. These players are clearly the type of players that Dalglish likes and Dalglish believes will get us back into contention for a Champions League place.

I think Carra will stay and probably deserves to but only as 4th choice cb behind Agger Skrtle and Coates.

I think it's plain for most to see kuyt and maxi will leave as they want/need game time.

Aqualani and j.cole I hope will be sold and not loaned. As I don't think they have a future here.

Other players I can see leaving are Aurelio and Jay spearing. Aurelio is always injured and Spearing isn't good enough.

I dont think Jay will go purely as he is cover for Lucas.  We are not going to spend big on a cover player so why sell a local lad who is decent?

Players to leave I reckon are:-

Maxi
Kuyt
Cole
Aquilani
A goalie
Wilson
and probably a couple of the young lads
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Yes I think Carra deserves to stay but his appearances will get fewer over next season as Coates gets more game time and Agger/Skert the first choices.

Aurellio has been a good player but his age and injury record means it's over for him and Kelly, Flanno and perhaps jack Robinson get some more game time.

With Lucas back, Henderson and Shelvey starting to look a lot better, I would get rid over little Jay as he's not good enough. Stevie's not going to be playing as much by the look of it and we might as well keep Adam as a backup.

If we get can get rid of Aquillani and Cole and Maxi and Kuyt want more time somewhere else, it would allow us to bring in a good winger and a goal scorer.

Might as well keep Bellers for another season.

But what happens if this young lad himself collects a red?  Better get a fifth keeper in and maybe even a sixth.  You can't be too careful...  :upside:

your so right i bet they did not think of that lol

I think what they are saying that this year we ended up playing a big game with no real back up keeper and if he had got a red and hurt during that game we would have had a big problem, its the nor that most clubs only have 3 keepers but some have 2 or 3they can call up if need be.
we had one out on loan.

Didn't Spearing sign a 4 year deal a year ago? Do the club want him to go and do well at somewhere like Wigan or Stoke? I don't think he'll go yet.

If spearing isnt good enough he shouldnt be at a club like Liverpool. We should scare teams when they play us and with the likes of Spearing playing i think they will rub their hands together.

Spearing probably isn't on high wages and as cover for the odd game I'm happy if he stays.  Fact is he's not good enough to be playing as many games as he has this season, he's been out of his depth at times imo.  He was awful in the cup final at the weekend and played an indirect part in both goals conceded.

Looks like Maxi and probably Kuyt are off, though I'd be happier if Dirk stayed another season.

Pointless having Aurelio on the wage bill, even when Enrique was injured/rested we played a right back or centre back at left back instead of him.

Wilson should be loaned, I still think he has potential.

I'd sell Cole and realistically I can't see Aquilani returning now, but he has to be sold, no loans this time, otherwise he has to be told he's coming back into the squad as cover.

I want a quiet summer with just a few coming in and a few going out.

he wont want to go but he has to.
he just isnt good enough technically or physically to play consistently at the top level.
he does put the effort in and for that i can understand people wanting him to stay but for me its to much arm waving and feet stomping with very little effect.
its not a rash assumption im making either as he has been knocking around the 1st squad for a while now and has never looked like developing as a player that can succeed at a top club.
i hope he gets a move to a club with less pressure so he can get more playing time.
