To be honest, I don't think Spearing is good enough for Liverpool.  He's also at an age were you can't really call him a young player anymore.  But Shelvey and Hendo are still young and should be kept.  They just shouldn't be in our first team.  Next year we'll have Europa League and there will be plenty of opportunities for them to play.

I cant see us keeping both shelvey and hendo next season. If we keep playing 442 we will have way too many CM's next season. We wont be able to sell the ones we really want to sell, and we will most likely get at least one new CM this year. Some better cover for lucas and/or a midfield playmaker. Maybe we will try to send shelvey out on loan again but i dont know how much longer he is willing to wait for his chance at this club.

I said it once and Ill say it again... the biggest failure of this season is that we are heading into an FA Cup final tomorrow and not one of us have any idea who'll play, what formation we'll use etc.

He still don't have our own gameplan.

what is so confusing ?
the back 5 is the same old 5 of Reina, Agger, Skertle, Johnson and Enrique.
Gerrard will play for sure, Downing right, Spearing will play DM, Suarez will start.
Bellers most likely will start too on left.
now the question is will Carroll start? or will Hendo play in a 3 man CM.

next season will be interesting as Commolli is gone, so any signing will be base soley on Kenny's decision.

Dalglish admitted he chose the players so you can only assume Comolli
negotiated the fees and wages and thats why he lost his job.

Whats still a mystery is to why Fenway were not more hands on during
the transfer process as we are always told there is constant contact and
discussion, yet it looks like Comolli had free reign on the deals and Fenway
put too much trust in him. That is quite naive really so you wonder how
much time they do actually spend on the Liverpool project.

There is still some mystery as to how we actually operate, and this summer
we need to be told whos job is what so we can be clear who is accountable
when things go wrong (which hopefully wont be often).

Why do we need to know what people do?  It's really nothing to do with us.  Our job is to support the team not  wonder who does what and appoint blame.  In all honesty we are not that important to the running of the club and very few of us know what is required to run a global operation.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I don't hold a lot of conviction about the game today to be honest. In the first half of the other two games at Wembley Liverpool were 1-0 down at halftime having not really played that well in either game, particularly the Everton game. Against a side on form like Chelsea who have won this cup before a few times in recent years I would fear for the team today by halftime if they start as badly.

Though they beat Chelsea twice away from home earlier in the season that was when Villas-Boas was in charge it will be a different game altogether today.

The main thing is that they play well and show some fight and spirit better that than going down to a bad loss. I hope I'm wrong but I think this cup game today Dalglish's team will more likely come unstuck.

To rephrase I would like to know who does what.

I think we should have an idea why people are at the club
and their role in the process.

Im not talking every nut and bolt of the organisation but
generally.

Earlier this year we didnt even know who was choosing the
players which is ridiculous.

because it was working. we were all over them, we had them rattled (or rather andy carroll had them rattled) more than barcelona did and barca were playing against a 10 man chelsea side and a makeshift defence.
if he would have made another sub it could have affected the balance of our team and let chelsea off the hook.

it's abundantly clear that midfield is the key area we need to address in terms of balance and personnel. we're weak in there, both physically and mentally. i said in january that our choice not to go out and buy a replacement for lucas would come back to haunt us and so it has proved. spearing tries hard but in the very big games just isn't up to it (was poor yesterday, got hooked away at old trafford etc). henderson has good ability but is scared of his shadow at times. adam isn't the answer and shelvey is just a kid. we need cover for lucas and also a proper decent attacking midfielder. go and get sigurdsson who was on loan at swansea. he's class and can play at a much better team than swansea. he'd cost £10m.

What confuses me about Kenny is his apparent obsession with doing wierd things. He reminds me almost of those college kids who choose to be gay because no one else is, or the wierd hippy type who tells ya how mad and stuff they are all the time.

You're a left winger? Ok...play on the right. Would the rest of the footballing world start Carroll for the cup final? Yes? Ok...we'll drop him to the bench. You'd play 4-4-2 at home? Alright, we'll play 5-5-0. All season it's been bizzarre decision after bizzarre decision and it seems to serve no other purpose than to be unpredictable and against the norm.

I've backed Kenny all season long, but decisions like dropping Carroll yesterday just leave me scratching my head and feeling a lil foolish.

I hope Kenny knows what he's doing....but i'm starting to suspect that maybe he dosen't. We've seen on the pitch progress this year, yes, but have we seen any progress on the managing side? Something just isn't sitting right at the moment...

I wont ever call for Kenny's head, but after the cup yesterday, i'd be niether suprised, nor particulary gutted to see a new man come in.

And NOT Rafa.

I think Kenny will be manager next season ,I believe we had to endure a season where everything went
to shit to come back next term with the mistakes of this season well and truly behind us .

We will be so much stronger next season ,and definitely wont be plagued with such desperately bad luck.
Anyway, its not open for debate ......Kop says Kenny Stays  :rasp

I agree, if there is nobody out there who is a viable option then they should continue with Kenny. We cannot afford to keep changing managers, it does the club more harm than good!
