This is boring poor football.

Liverpool is torn to pieces and Suarez is incredibly isolated ontop. Why is Gerrard always just in front of the back 4? Shouldn't he support Suarez up front with Spearing taking care of that area?

No passing. No creativity. No flair. Only 1 person in the box. Why is there no bodies attacking their box? Henderson and Spearing lacking midfield quality. Enrique slipping further down and making all sorts of mistakes. Bellamy and Downing not utilized as they should. Suarez isolated.

This screams out for changes, will Kenny make them? Does he know what to do at all?

Enrique needs to come off

we're losing and STILL NO ONE RUNS IN TO THE BOX....why doesn't kenny change our shape, so we commit more players into attack?

kenny must be going mad in there, he spent 30 mins telling them to push up and they still did not do it.

Reina - Should have done better for the first goal but I guess he assumed Ramires was gonna shoot across goal.
Johnson - Looking threatening and making some good recovery tackles.
Agger - Very attacking minded which is a plus. Unfortunately has a card so he's gotta be careful.
Skrtel - Drogba is having a quiet game so far so good job
Enrique - He is not playing as well as he can but maybe it's because his partner on the left flank is absolute Sh*t.
Henderson - Rubbish. It's like playing with 10 men.
Spearing - Rubbish. Was at fault for the first goal as it was his pass which led to it. He was rubbish in the last game when he kept losing possession and making wayward passes so I'm surprised to see him there. But then again, Carroll had a very good last game yet isn't starting in this game. Wonderful management by Kenny.
Gerrard - Playing way too deep. He should be playing just behind the striker (if we have one) but he's being forced to come back simply because the other midfielders are that bad.
Suarez - Lack of involvement from him but that's because he's not receiving any service whatsoever. Playing as a lone striker against Terry and Ivanovic is never easy.
Downing - Bring back Leto or Gonzalez or Riera. He loses every ball, doesn't look up, makes aimless crosses to nobody in the box. it's as though he is crossing for the sake of it. It's almost as though he doesn't want the ball!
Bellamy - Losing the ball too many times. Probably gonna be replaced but he is one of the few sources we have for a goal.

Overall, our team looked as though they can't be bothered until Ramires scored and only then did the tempo increase.

what ever happened to the enrique we seen in the first few months ill never know,he's replaced himself with a shadow.
defensively i wouldnt worry about him but going forward he's braindead.
of course it doesnt help having that placebo downing playing in front of you

mate, we've been playing this sh!te all season, and it's the same today. No commitment attack, no flair, and poor, poor players.

Downing, Henderson and Spearing are awful

POOR, POOR first 45 mins from nearly every Liverpool player.

Half Time Ratings
Reina - 4 - Forgot the first rule of goal keeping, don't get beat at your near post.
Johnson - 5 - Some decent forward runs and willing to go at Chav defence but hasn't had enough of the ball.
Skrtel - 5 - Looks very shaky at times.
Agger - 5 - See above but some good runs.
Enrique - 4 - Having a stinker especially going forward, looks nothing like the player we had before Christmas.
Spearing - 3 - Gave the ball away for goal and looks like a school boy playing against men.
Henderson - 4 - Usual from him, sideways and backwards passing, still don't get why he gets picked ahead of others.
Gerrard - 5 - We badly miss the Stevie of old, he's having to drop too deep to cover for the inabilities of his midfield team mates leaving Luis isolated.
Downing - 5 - Had most of the ball for us going forward but done nowt with it. Put one decent cross in but with nobody in there to receive it what's the point.
Bellamy - 5 - Willing as ever and had our only shot (if it counted) but again hasn't been effective enough with the ball when he's had it.
Suarez - 6 - Isolated, having to come deeper looking for the ball looks fed up.

Things have to be improved and some of these players need to show they've got some balls and take the game by the scruff of the neck!

I wonder what Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing think of their first half displays. As far as I'm concerned, both should be taken off with Kuyt and Carroll or Maxi coming on to add to our attacking game.

We need to change the tempo, style, and become much more direct. Chelsea far too comfortable and we look far too unorganized.

Gerrard for me has carried Henderson for large periods and that in turn affected his performance at least from an attacking perspective. Just put Gerrard in the middle, take Henderson off, and get another forward in to press higher up.

So Kenny is not to blame for their abilities and fitness level?

spearing is just a terrible footballer.
all he does is run around waving his arms in the air while stomping his feet and making noise.all huff and puff but absolutely no ability.

Spearing shouldn't be anywhere near this team. Another ***** pass and another goal for them.
