Mentioned it earlier in this thread, I suspect Kenny is using this game as a way to identify who goes out during summer. This is as good a dead rubber as any.

I dont see what he could learn from one match that he doesnt already  know.

Perhaps for some players, yes, like Doni, Maxi and Kuyt. We could really have done with a storming Anfield victory to march us onto the final though, so I don't agree with this being dead rubber. This seems a nonsensical line-up.

It's not a case of 1 match, it's more a case of letting certain players put themselves in the shop window...

I agree about momentum leading into the final though and am just as disappointed with this lineup.

Having said that, it seems like we're getting the results we need in the Cup competitions this year inspite of the actual performances.

True enough. After the season we've had, beng trounced at Anfield by Fulham FC dosen't seem that strange a preperation for the Cup final.

Carroll's owning. I think he's won every challenge so far. His touch and awareness seem on the up still, too.

I know this is a reserve line up.. but its weird to see Fulham have a better front six than us. Fulham.

Should we re-sign Murphy then?  :eyebrow

Shelvey is having a pretty good game as is Kuyt. Carroll is doing very well but desperately needs more support.
