you are off your head if you think newcastle and spurs are bigger than liverpool mate, even though manchester united hadnt won the title for 26 years they were still the biggest club in the country, even liverpool fans accepted it, we just said they might be the biggest but we are the best.
anyway spurs havent won the title since their push and run days of the early 60`s and god only knows when newcastle last won the league.
stop being so melodramatic.
I might be off my head, but you need to improve on your comprehension skills. I never said that Newcastle or Spurs are bigger, I said that we are about as big as them at the moment. We're certainly not the big team that we were in the 1970's and 1980's. We've largely regressed over the last twenty years with the odd resurgence here or there. We're not a top side in England anymore, we're near enough a mid-table side who has been fortunate to qualify for Europe's second tier football competition based on our Carling Cup victory. That says everything about the position we currently find ourselves in. As you say though what would be the fate our club now had the club slipped into administration under the cowboys and were deducted 10 points? Lord knows, so I am thankful, however Kenny must get things right in this transfer window. I doubt he'll have as much money to spend as last time, so let's hope he uses this money properly and brings in the much needed quality that we lack, particularly in centre midfield and up top.
