Contemptible! Now there's a word .
Yes lets stick with a system that clearly isn't working, mid-table obscurity here we come. I do not understand this philosophy if stickign with something that clearly doesn't work. If the team were improving week in week out then ok but we aren't and kenny is still picking the wrong players and why the hell we did not get a striker in on loan in January is completely beyond me, imagine if we'd have gotten Saha we'd be talking about 4th place now, I'm sure of it.
To strive for improvement is not contemptible to settle for mediocrity is.

That's 4 players signed in the last 12 months that aren't British.

Suarez was not a Dalglish signing, if indeed Carroll wasn't as has been mentioned here then how can Suarez be a Kenny signing when Suarez and Carroll arrived on the same day?

I agree, but some posters on here are adamant that Carroll was not a Kenny signing, but one by the American owners.

if you read Kenny's book he says Comoli called him and asked if he wanted him, kenny said go for it. If Kenny said don't then he probably wouldn't have. Suggested by Comoli, green light given by Kenny. We can't be succcessful if our owners and Kenny want different players, it simply won't work

Its no yardstick thats for sure (relegated Birmingham won it last year)
To answer a previous poster.. no i really dont want Kenny sacked, he made an almighty blunder with the british transfers but every manager deserves a chance to rectify a mistake. I would allow him to spend whatever he would recoup from the sale of Carroll, Adam and whoever else... and then see how we go next season.
His methods work (we saw flashes of it towards the end of last season).. what has killed his methods is his terrible signings. He had a successful formula with the way we played in our three best performances under him, but that changed when he introduced his midtable level british signings (as a result we are near midtable).
