Terrible news. Has it been identified yet what exactly happened? Must have been an altercation of some sort that got out of hand.

Thoughts with the family. YNWA

I'm just awaiting the new headlines "Racist Liverpool fan stabbed to death in defence".

My wishes is with his family and close ones.

Absolutely horrific, how can people be so senseless?

I agree the club should highlight the problem and take the moral highground to keep violence out of sport.

I await the FA statement.  Errr......

don't see why the FA need to get involved Reg, it was a bar fight that turned nasty. Not football related.

Maybe but I'd like to see what interaction the FA has with clubs on a daily basis over non-field and non-player issues.

The FA needs to be proactive in fan interests and be more transparant so when things do go wrong in one area or another, clubs, the police and Joe Public are better informed and are confident the FA will respond and correctly. Seems to me the FA spend their whole time fire fighting rather than being proactive and promoting what they're doing.

If nowt else it will improve the FA / public relationship.

Same kind of coward that starts a fight about something petty so he can pull it out.  Shocking  :no

Sorry for the lad. Another senseless loss of life...
