1) Skrtel's really come on leaps and bounds this year. Very consistant. Very strong. His positioning and awareness are much better this year.

Agree with all three.

Skrtel is easily club player of the year, and should also be in Premier team of the year. Agger aint far behind him which shows how good the partnership is..by far the best in the league.

I will defend Downing as his stats would be a hell of a lot better if we had a top #9 who makes the necessary runs in the box. How many assists would he have with Aldo or Rush in the team? At Wembley there was two absolute pearlers across goal that a Lineker or Rush would have tapped in.

our defense has been absolutely fantastic this season, and thankfully as well, considering our rubbish record at scoring. i find it hard to believe that only Everton, Stoke, Swansea, QPR and Wigan scored less goals than us so far. Suarez's long ban and Gerrard's injury did us no justice but it's not as though they are the only players at the club that we can rely on for goals, or are they? hopefully the midfielders and strikers find their touch soon and lead the team to a 4th place finish. i'm certain it can be done this season, despite the odds against us. we usually thrive as underdogs anyway.

for a start i am not going to put Carrol in this but, I think he has done well, he has not got many goals but he has set a lot up and tends to put the ball in the right place for anyone coming off him...shame they then miss.

no for me its.

Downing............... have been let down by him but is he about to turn it on?

and now the one that none of you are going to like but...

Reina...........yes he is still great in goal most of the time but he is starting to make mistakes when coiming out of his goal and i do feel he has to be blamed for many goals let in this year. but he is in my worse list due to his attitude, has often looked very unhappy and with no carragher there saying "keep your eyes on the ball" he has often had his head down and looking as if he is not part of the team.

I'm sorry lakes but :laugh:

Finally given the chance he should have been given 2 years ago and has grown as a player
Agger Just solid player which you knew would be good if he stayed injury free
Enrique
Well, he has been slumping of late but at 5 million he has been a welcome upgrade to the left back position.

Honorable mention Bellamy
While he has been good he hasn't been given enough playing time to warrant a place on the list.

Worst
Adam
Just an awful player. Sure, his left foot is good but he tries hollowood passes to often and can't use his right no matter what. Slow as ****, can't tackle. I could go on and on but an epic failure and Kenny just can't stop picking his countryman...
Henderson
Epic failure. Does nothing, shows nothing.
I am not interested in what he can do for us 2016, I want us to get players that is ready 2012! Worth maybe 5 millionat most, maybe less.
Caroll
Even if he is improving(how hard that can be now) we just paid 35 million for someone who hasn't got the tools to be a goalscorer. Lacks agressivness and smartness to be where the ball is going to come. Just been awful if you look at the whole season.

Downing
Is lacking severly in confidence and is only good vs teams he knows he can beat the fullback. You are an england international ffs. Grow some balls!

In conclusion almost all of Kenny's signings have been epic failures.

Our best players, in no particular order, have been Skrtel, Enrique, Bellamy and Agger.

Probably Skrtel shades it for me in terms of consistency. Enrique has shown signs of a dip in form over last month or so, while Bellamy can't play every game and Agger is again injured (although this is his best season for a while in terms of injuries). All four have been brilliant for us this season though.

Lucas no doubt would have been up there too, he was having a good season until he got injured.
