I'm all for healthy rivalry but when is the petty antipathy between Liverpool Football Club and Man U going to end !
A week after United receive over 6000 tickets in a ground with a capacity just over 44K, United cut our allocation to a paltry 2,100 in a ground that holds 75,000 !
In the interests of balance LFC did cut United's allocation in the Premiership game earlier this season to 1965 but in percentage terms we gave them significantly more given the respective capacities of each ground.
The reason ? Health and Safety
...yeah riiiiight ! As a fan who is lucky to travel to away games going to United is neither healthy or safe ! Ever since Neville rather stupidly ran the full length of the pitch to goad the LFC supporters we have been kept behind for anything up to a hour.
This means that if you choose to travel by car it's twitchy bum time as you leave cos it's obvious your a LFC fan cos your leaving so much later than everyone else.
Not for the faint hearted !
