utterly brilliant player. city aside he'd still walk into any other side in the league for me.

if only he was five years younger. even now he seems to be as quick as the last time he played for us.

Class.

Arguably Kenny's best signing (Suarez and Enrique are quality but we paid a fee for them).

That's why he was sold when we were looking to upgrade to Torres .

He didn't score enough goals .

I'm sure he was one we would've kept if we could've afford it, but after Torres came I don't think there was too much to complain about: we sold a decent player for a world class one.

All I remember from his last spell with us was him being called up for off-side with every second attack we had. He is a much better player now.

Craig is quite simply a far better player for Liverpool this time around! His attitude is fantastic. The ovation he received when he went off in the final minutes just about said it all.

Rafa is a counter attacking manager so Bellamy played on the shoulder of the last defender (hence was offside more then). I recall a game at Wigan where he just hung off the central defender all game and barely moved from there. The difference under Kenny is he drops back into midfield far more often, gets involved in the build up (therefore aint offside so much). Kenny plays a far more expansive game than Rafa which suits Bellamy much more.

Sorry Kerry, you can't blame Rafa for Bellamy's inability to count to two. He was needlessly offside so many times back then. With his pace (which was certainly not less than he has now), it was completely unnecessary, and wasteful of our possession. Given his record for Blackburn before he joined us he was a disappointment first time around.

Not anymore though!  :buttrock

I don't like the little monkey, but he was absolutely massive for Liverpool last night.

Ironically, he's been one of the better recent signings for the club.

Hope he continues putting in the performances.

His winding up is great until he gets himself sent off by gobbing off too much.

Best value for money signing since Houllier got Gary Mac on a free.

Fair play to him, his attitude and commitment has been fantastic.  His quality is there for all to see.

How is he still so quick at 32 though?  He seems faster than when he was here last time!

What a night for him last night.

Thing is with him he has the mindset to play for Liverpool.

Its one thing bringing in good players, and weve brought tons in like, but being a good player here is another story, the history, the expectation, and a few are finding this out now.

Bellamy has the swagger to do it here and you need a big pair to do it week in week out at Liverpool thats for sure.

If only he had this same attitude when he was with us last time around. Maybe the knowledge that this is his last chance at a big club has motivated him. Will be emotional for him in the final.
