We are yet to hit Carroll with anything decent in the first. Adam is really inconsistent, but hasn't been very good. Hendo and Spearing are both very quiet. We need Stevie on early in the second.

I think Spearing has been quite alright in this game.

Bellamy is running the show singlehandedly... (downing a far 2nd).

Hopefully we can see gerrard and maxi early in the 2nd half (and bellamy should not be substituted).

the own goal was a wake up call for us! we upped our game when we went 1-0 down. Henderson has been awful, he is contributing nothing to our play, sub him off get Gerrard in. Carroll NEEDS to get into right positions to attack the ball, some really good crosses into the box but he is never there, he plays way to deep.

We can still win this, we just need to keep up the pressure and play downing on the left

put Gerrard on for Adam, he's been awful. Too many misplaced passes mostly by Adam and Carroll. Bellamy has been immense. The one time he lost the ball he sprinted 70 yards to get it back. Class

It's been a good first half IMO, they've only got one chance (which was sadly a goal) and we've had most of the possession, but as we've seen this season that won't bring us much unless we take our chances. Also, Gerrard should enter early in the second half on the place of Henderson.
