Fug know's what went on behind closed doors, I don't just think Torres spat his dummy out
something obviously went pretty wrong, maybe H&G already agreed to sell him? or Rafa going made hid mind up for him?.

I don't know can't quite put my finger on it, but at Chelsea he will NOT be the four front of the attack, he is not the main man
Torres likes the lone striker role with a CF behind him that's not how Chelsea play,i seriously think Torres fugged this one up
whatever advice he got if any was just plain wrong and he should sack the idiot that said the move was a good idea.

But for 20 mil might be worth a punt, if only to get him in the changing room so the lads can kick the snot outta him before sending him back to spain

As much as I would have loved to see Torres playing with Suarez, I dont want him back. He is a proper miserable sulk and lookng at what people within the club have been saying recently the dressing room has an amazing atmosphere at the moment. I would hate for that to be disrupted.

Would have Torres back in a heartbeat. He is an employee like anyone else...and i dont expect loyalty from him as i wouldnt any other player. Hes an employee not a fan..so while i was f**ked off as anyone else as i thought he cared for us more than he did.. i hold no grudges. For me his big issue appears to be mental...an apathy he displays on and off the field. He barely smiles (was like that for us also for the last year..understandble given the mess we were in as a club) and his heart doesnt look in it. Theres a lack of effort even. He is well known for being a shy character.. and hes gone to Chelsea and not asserted himself (theres a great article i read the other day that mentioned this.. which gave a contrast had Ronaldo signed for instance he would have gone into that Chelsea dressing room with the big I AM, flashy boots, and demanded to be the go to player). Torres has superstar quality, but hes never had a superstar attitude..hes very timid. Signing for us you just know that warmth would reappear (we are a forgiving lot) and under Kenny he would get constant support.. which he simply aint getting at that rather cold institution Chelsea.

It wont happen of course.. theres no way Chelsea would take a massive financial hit to the club that sold him... a fierce rival at that. The 15 million "profit" we made last year in selling Torres for 50 and taking on Carroll for 35...all of us would gladly reverse (lets say 30 million for Torres and sell Carroll for 15.. which is about right) last years two transfers this January. Alas fairytales don't usually happen.

We've been linked with Lassana Diarra... whatever grain of truth is in that i have no idea. But he would be an incredible signing. Hes a step up from Lucas so rather than being a stop gap it would be a long term signing.
