Not putting enough pressure on.

Suarez is the only one chasing down players. We are missing that in the centre, acres of space.

All in all a good half.. I actually think Carroll has done ok making a nuisance of himself... could have had a couple of goals too. If one of them had gone in, no one would be saying he is having a poor game.

funny how different opinions can be, isn't it? i think spearing has been having a good game. he's more inclined to play further forward than lucas, and adam and henderson haven't been dropping back enough to cover when he does, which is why there is such a space infront of our defence. apart from that though he's been getting plenty of tackles in and playing the ball forward quickly and accurately. carroll has also been getting stuck in, winning lots of headers and generally making a nuisance of himself. he's also unlucky not to have scored.

for the first 25 minutes or so they just couldn't live with suarez and i hope to see him return to tormenting them for more of the 2nd half.

Yeah, can't to be too hard on him. He's just hard on the eyes is all.

I still think we're favorites to win this one but we're not playing very well.

In defense, we're making too many stupid mistakes that could have been really costly if Fulham knew how to use them. We're also giving them too much space to build up and we're giving them space to shoot. The back 4 has actually been OK, the defensive errors come from our midfield.

While we build up, we give away the ball too much and we're trying 50 yard passes where there's absolutely no need for them. We're trying to make an attractive pass too often (mostly Adam) and that usually leads to a mistake.

In attack we've been OK but we're making mistakes there as well. At times, we're just complicating it too much, mostly Suarez and Henderson as well are doing that.

But there are also some plus sides in this, like the lively Henderson who's all over the pitch. Fulham are not playing very good as well, so I think we'll be able to win this one if we take our chances.

Thing with Spearing is, I've seen him play much much better. I don't know if the talk of him trying to replace Lucas has gotten to him but he isn't playing as he normally does for us imo.

Not bad. We do seem to be missing Lucas, they are making the most of the space in front of our back four. Hendo and Carroll could very easily have had us 2-0 up, but we are struggling to break them down. Carroll isn't winning as much in the air as you'd hope, so perhaps he'd be the first off for Maxi's movement.

Anyone who is saying Carroll has been poor is an absolute spoon. Apart from Enrique carrol has been our best player

it feels like i've slipped into a surreal parallel dimension saying this but... i think gary neville is a decent pundit. the best sky have had for a while anyway, and he's quick to praise us when we deserve it.

get Carroll the fck outta there..

Put Maxi on and get Spearing top sit infront of the back 4 centrally with Henderson supporting him and Adam given more space to roam...

Suarez has been on the ball in all the wrong areas (bar one occasion when he cut it from the near post). We need to get both him and Bellamy connecting more centrally.

we need to kill this game quickly before we get desperate and then we'l never score.
the midfield need to get forward quicker and give the strikers an option.the final ball needs to improve this half.
