Lucas has contributed more to the team over the last season and a half than Gerrard has - We have coped with the loss of Gerrard because of the way Lucas has played .
Do you still believe players like Mikel are better than him ?

Zidane wrote:OurDon't be so quick to dismiss his importance, although I somewhat agree he won't be that missed in the upcoming games as long as we play as good as we're capable of playing but without him against City/Chelsea these past few matches we would have more than likely had our midfield dismantled and we wouldn't have come out with 2 wins and a draw, he was THAT good. It's the matches against the top teams where we more than likely will be overrun in the middle. On another note Lucas is quite clearly the best at what he does in the league. He's been crucial for us at a very important time, the last 3 games have made our season a season of hope and excitement when it could have easily turned it into another roller coaster ride.
