aren't Blackpool optimistic about getting Shelvey back in January? I'm hoping thats an indications that the length of the injury is being exaggerated

Yeah mate, isn't hindsight a bitch, maybe we should all wait THREE SEASONS before we pass an opinion on a player ?

:D

Now we've got to wait for Andy Carroll too, all this waiting makes ya head turn Grey.

Speaking of Carroll, I heard Comolli has done an interview about the signing of our players and the stats involved around them, apparently he reckons he got all the signings right apart from one, possibly.  :suspect:

FFS the guy finally starts to develop into a beast of a central midfielder after 3 long YEARS and starts to hit his top gear only to be cut down with a season ending injury.

Have all the Haitian witch doctors in the world put a curse on Liverpool? What is this nonsense???

He Tweets quite often, even Tweeted last night to say he was having a scan today.

The fact he hasn't Tweeted at all today worries me....

Suarez Tweeted about it before saying "With all my heart , be strong @LucasLeiva87!! we are with you!!"

Must be a bad one :(

Some of us need to be careful what we wish for!

I hope he's ok. I along with a lot of people was critical of him but he keeps improving game by game, not just his tackling but his passing as well. His 20 yarder to Carroll last night was brilliantly played!  Hope he's back soon. I'm sure a lot of reds including myself will truly miss him during the course of his injury. Get well soon lad.

Good luck with your scan Lucas.Your contribution even under the dark Hodgson days was immense! Your contribution now is up there with the very very best. Hope the knee recovers quickly and it is not too serious. You have become a true red after a difficult start to life at Liverpool.Your attitude, personality and determination have had many of us eating mountains of humble pie! Well done!

He's out for the season I've read. Gutted for both the lad and the team if true, a major blow.

The clubs facebook page posted a photo of Lucas and asked fan's to post their get well soon messages so they could show Lucas.  And with Shelvey coming back off loan its not looking like your standard injury for Lucas.

This is not good for us at all :(
