Saw the goals on tele yesterday. I`ve said it before and I say it again - LFC and Mr. Benitez cannot afford to have Baros benched ! He`s just too damn good !
How is Cisse coming along ? Seems he has some startingproblems, or....

no matter how much people slag him he still keeps scoring.

if he starts the majority of games he will get 15-20 goals this season. if he is permanently in the team with the odd appearance as sub, barring injury, he'll get 20 plus.

defies the doubters thats why i like him.

baros has 4 (vs man city, norwich, monaco, fulham)

cisse has 3 (vs tottenham, monaco, norwich)

My problem with Baros is that he keeps gobbing off about Barca!!!!

He needs to play a season and score 15+ goals before he can justify thinkin he's big enough to say all that shi13, he seems to suit international footie more than club football at the moment, I also think that he needs to learn under Rafa and make himself a better play cos he just puts his head down and runs rather than bring other players into the game

the guy scores goals and thats all that matters. if his all round game is ****** but he still scores 25 goals a season then he's good enough.

baros will not flourish at LFC. Seems he's taken over Heskey's role of falling over at every touch. Why does he always have a hard done by look every time he touches the ball. He is not our man. He's fallen a good 7 times in the Deportivo game. He's missed chances he should have put away. It's just not going to happen for him here. You get a couple of good chances against the top clubs and you must put them away.

Cisse,, he'll be great, no worries.

Benitez has added confidence to the squad. there is some life in their step. Valencia shamed us when he was there. Trust Benitez.

Kirkland, good to see him back there, solid.

I disagree about the Baros comment, I agree with everything else. Baros never had a full season start here and this is his first time. He was the sub for most of the time and I think he can improve through out the season.

He is showing that he is willing to fight. Not counting Gerrard, he is our top goalscorer at the moment. Give the lad a chance.

Cisse needs to be sat down and told what off side is and how not to get off side ..oh and also how to let go of the ball when he is in front of the goal ...oh and how to pass to team mates when they are open on goal and he is not ...oh and how to shoot

I couldn't agree more and the constant bleating about Barca and the sledging of GH is simply not on !!!

He's in the "Bellamy" mode when it comes to gobbing off and it serves no purpose other than Baros's

Everytime he plays he gives 100% and IMO had a very good reason to slag off houllier as that lump heskey was getting picked ahead of him week after week.

People can rightly say he is an individual but no more than say Cisse or even 1 of the best strikers in the world in Ronaldo.

Yeah while i dont like the public Barca comments myself i think you do have to take in mitigation if true the stories about him being in starting 11 and then removed in favour of Heskey because of player power. That sort of stuff certainly would cause frustration

Put yourself in Baros' shoes...if you think you are good enough but see the piece of log being constantly picked ahead of you, you have the right to vent your frustration. All strikers wants to play every game to be sharp (and increase their value) and I don't blame him for the way Houller treated him. But that's history now...we need to look at his present result and commitment now that he gets a run in the starting line up.
