I imagine Carroll will start in his place

I sort of expected Bellamy to miss this one due to the news about Gary Speed. I bet he would have really been up for this game today, I would have thought Collins as Wales captain would have been missing for Villa but he is playing. No one can predict how Bellamy will play or hwat kind of mood he is in at the best of times so it is probabley for the best he sits this one out today :(

Kenny probably made the decision as soon as he heard the news.

Our starters:

Reina, Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Downing, Adam, Henderson, Lucas, Kuyt, Suarez

Good line-up IMO, maybe it should have been Carroll instead of Kuyt but this is OK too.

Hope it is:

           Lucas       Adam

Kuyt         Henderson       Downing

And not:

Henderson      Lucas   Adam       Downing

Don't see Henderson offering nearly as much on the wing as he will in the centre.

Terrible news as regards to Gary Speed. A real gentleman. Sad for Bellamy too. It's such a shame coz he would have really been up for this one.

We need to go at these from the start and not let them settle.

but didnt lampard played the wk his mom passed on ?
Titi Camara too when his dad passed away..
disappointed that Bella wont play
