Been playing Dark Souls and Fifa, Dark Souls has me hooked right now though.  Such a frustrating yet satisfying game.

Football Manager 2012 Demo is out now. Been playing it for the last couple of days, looks and plays brilliantly. A massive improvement. Released fully on the 21st of this month.
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

B3 campaign is pretty immersive especially with the surround sound on. I'm only a couple of hours into the campaign however I can say this, gameplay- very good, graphics- standard, issues- plane level boring(ace combat beginner stuff) multplayer- no individual deathmatch only team based modes meh. Summary- will complete single player campaign within week and trade for COD MW3 and play that game for 12 months lke everyone else.

Almost bought Battlefield 3 yesterday. Thought it was going to be the mutts nuts but some reviews (like yours) have got me thinking it's maybe just average.

Is it ? and do yer really think COD MW3 will be so much better ?

Different games Woof,

It all depends on you, if your into online and multiplayer modes then BF3 is the best in it, the multiplayer is awesome intense and very realistic. The singeplayer is is ok, not as much as COD, so if your into campaigns then COD is the best option

The problem with the B3 multiplayer is the lack of individual deathmatch action. I dont mind playing in a clan with the people I know now and again but I'd much rather kick back with a few hours of individual hardcore deathmatch shooting anything that moves. I suppose thats why the COD games totally outsell Battlefield, case in point, my stepson still plays COD2 online and in tournaments and he says the games are still rammed full of players. Battlefield is very good game but it really does have a shelf life and will be traded in en masse come 8/11. IMHO of course. BTW I should add I'm playing Xbox version.

Battlefield series never had an individual deathmatch mode, even in the first one BF 1942. Even if it did it would be a horrible mode because it doesn't suit it. BF is a total war game, its a massive game in multiplayer in the PC version you have a maximum of 64 players in the largest maps! a 32 vs 32 becomes intense. COD don't have vehicles, helicopters or even Migs that you can drive.

Its a different game all together, I think BF3 will definitely outsell COD MW3.

I dont disagree thats its a good game mate but it wont get anywhere near the volume of sales that COD will acrue. I thinks I'm right in saying that COD have 6 of the top 10 biggest sellers of all time? and yes I accept that BF has never done single player maps, I didnt know until I bought it though  :(

Re vehicles having minced about in the plane for a few mins I'll gladly give that a miss (killstreaks do earn a chopper railgun in cod btw)
