has Carroll done anything useful so far? ???  i really hope Bellamy comes on for him. at least the Welsh has more energy, drive, spirit, determination and speed to trouble Everton.

Bad red card but I'm not complaining. Penalty was good and as the game went on the ref haven't been giving us any favours.

So we're 0 for 2 with pens this season.  We need Stevie back.

To be fair you can't really blame Kuyt.  Could have hit it harder, but he placed it right in the corner.  Howard made a good save, and Kuyt has to miss every once in a while.  Thought Adam would actually take it myself, but Kuyt taking them is fine by me.

Could actually see Gerrard on for Carroll and Suarez pushed up the pitch a bit, and even tho I think Downing is playing well with no Carroll he seems to get isolated, so I could see Bellamy coming on for him as well.

Decent first half.  Don't think anybody is playing really bad... Carroll's picked up the Henderson role and gone completely missing at times, but he's picked it up from how he started.

I think, the midfielder's that we have (aside Gerrard) need to  have big time training in how to command the midfield.

Simple, we don't deserve it!
What a cowerdly display if i ever seen one. Players left their pair at Anfield and we play with no purpose. Sending off saw us wake up a bit but other then Lucas which tried to speed the game up and send deep passes all the others look shell shocked.

Not sure what the game plan was but it looks as if we are playing not to lose. Now that we are a player up hope to see an overall change in approach and intention.

Good first half from the neutrals' perspective I guess. The red defo wasn't, but Cahill could have gone, so I guess it all comes out in the wash, though I'd rather him off than Rodwell.

We should be a couple up to be honest. I think we'll win, but we need to keep our movement up, and remain patient... Carroll needs to put himself about more, he has been anonymous, I'd like to see Bellamy on for him at some time in the half. I'd leave Kuyt on for the whole game I think. Adam has been OK I thought, but Gerrard for him seems like a no brainer at some point too.

Instead of just crossing to Carroll hoping that he win's a header, the other players should maybe try and pass to him along the ground to feet. I'm sure he would do better then.

We need to speed it up a notch or 2.

I think we will score about 3 2nd half.

Yeah, the crosses in are a bit aimless and they've got Fellaini back to help the CBs with them.  More effective would be more little 1-2s with Suarez at the edge of the area, as we saw with the penalty.

that is provided Carroll bothers to make some movement and get involved instead of being one lazy donkey. he's not the right partner for someone like Suarez. Kuyt and/or Bellamy would be a better choice.

Gerrard and Bellamy on for Carroll and Adam.

I think Suarez while involved in the Sending off and Penalty has a terrible game. Can't seem to control any of the balls driven to him and looks pretty shaken overall.

Sloppy from Kuyt. Yellow card for Lucas.

Bring Henderson on for Kuyt.
