Dirk scores yet another IMPORTANT goal, we need to find a formation that allows us to play our best players, Stevie, Lucas, Downing, Suarez, Kuyt have to almost play everytime, and you can throw in Maxi.

We still surrendered a lot of possession to them in the second half, something we would not get away with in the prem.

Good first half could of been 3-0 up and then went sloppy in the 2nd half when Maxi, Spearing and Lucas vanished..

it was a result,not overly convincing but never thought we'd steamroll them anyway.
disapointed with how we let them take the game to us in the 2nd but anyway we move to the next round.

Bellamy MOTM for me ,not only did he score and set the other one he looks passionate and is just instant impact on the game ,i really like the little lad.

What continues to worry is our defence ,i mean at this stage only enrique looks as a solid defender. Today Kelly ,Coates ,Carra ,Robinson really really poor.

Lucas and Spearing (what are you doing kid???) were also very poor.

Decent result ,not a convincing display.

What a load of bollox. I was at the game and I thought The defence was fine, Carragher in fact made a couple of quality clearances. Lucas hardly put a foot wrong.

If anything Kuyt was disappointing. Good goal but gave away possession. Coates looked nervous at times. Spearing was an idiot for the pen.
