Hello all.
Long time since my last post. Love the site, but don't understand the negativity sometimes.
I can't help but feel since the focus for result has come off Kuyt and Lucas that people are looking for another scapegoat to blame. Rather than Suarez suffering form 2nd season syndrome, I think Carroll does has some improvements to make, but some of the criticism is unfair, for insance he had no controll over the size of his transfer fee. At the moment we are playing to Suarez's strengths in terms of pace and movement, and it will take some time for him to adapt to this. I don't believe this is beyond him, but it won't happen instantly. He will also benifit from the return of Glen Johnson, providing additional width, and quality crossing. Time will tell though.

Looks like Ponytail express is going to be main polarizing battleground on this forum this season. Between doom and gloom merchants and the true blue fans or realistic knowledge guys and rose coloured happy clappers depending on your biased point of view

As per normal I find myself in the middle not wanting to write him off already but definately having some concerns which started when we bought him at that price and have only grown since

he will come good and be decent enough for us in the end.
its very interesting that kuyts thread has'nt been seen for weeks now so i assume carroll is the new kuyt.
personally i would understand the abuse if carroll had 150 games under his belt for us and still was underperforming then it could be justified but after 14 games and 212 minutes just makes a few people look rather silly???

How many games did crouch go without a goal, and he got the same flak and only cost 7m. Some fans never learn.

if he was 8 million then i wouldnt be worried

but he was 35 for fkkks sake, we could have done so much better with out money

he looks and plays like an 8 millon pound striker, best suited to an average team who doesnt mind hoofing it long.

we look a better team without him in it. that is a fact my friends!

You lot really are picky f uckers, if he still looks like sh it after 20 games by all means rant and rave but for now
pull the thongs out of your a ss cracks because lets face it they maybe a little to tight.

Oh just a bit of advice all you lot with wifes girlfriend boyfriends husbands, whatever go get some it relives tension and stress
Andy will be fine , even if he's not what ya gonna do aye get on the blower to kenny and say we would rather have fernando sulky f uckin Torres back .
