Im not the only one who thinks the same about this game. My kids were excited when I got it and my second oldest booted me of me comp and played it himself. After about an hour he said the same as me, its not that great. Now he couldnt put his finger on what exactly lets it down, he just recognised its not as good as the reviews were saying.

The longer you play it the more you realise, you are doing the same thing through each series of play. And the boss fights really are boring.

After watching us play it, my oldest had made up his mind and lost interest altogether.

Maybe its just me. A lot of people found the Halo games awesome, I found them tedious.

What did you do to your kids ???  :D


HALO IS AWESOME! anyways currently I'm addicted to Civilization V, fantastic game

Halo CE, the first one was a masterpeice and quite possibly the finest journey I've experienced in game play (alongside the very first Tomb Raider). The next Halo release was all about online multiplayer and as a result that too was a masterpeice however the other games in the series have been tedious. All IMHO you understand.

Halo: Reach is awesome. They're re-releasing the first in November

I 've never played anything in the Deus Ex series so I can't possibly comment. Waiting for FIFA atm :D

re-releasing the first Halo with Reach's engine I think. The graphics are certainly updated but other than that I'm not sure. Like if they're introducing weapons from the other games or anything like that

They're doing it for the 10th anniversary of the originals release

awesome! first Halo is one of the best FPS I have ever played, Counter Strike was the best though

Halo sucks... When you play against other people it should never take 20 shots from an exploding laser gun to kill anybody...

COD has been my favorite game for a long time, but Battlefield 2 is pretty awesome.

Been playing Space Marine most of the day. Not bad.

Not great either, but it is fun. Its like Devil May Cry kind of fun but not as much over the top, which is a shame. However it does keep you hooked. The gameplay itself is simple, you attack constantly, and thats pretty much it.

Compared to Deus Ex Human Revolution, I definately enjoyed this one much more.
