STOKE CITY VS LIVERPOOL - 10 september 2011, ko: 15:00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Coates will only succeed in creating more uncertainty at the back, best to leave him out of this imo unless an injury occurs

Carroll should ruffle a few feathers, surely he's got something to prove after the week he's had.

Adam is my main concern, maybe bring him off, shift Hendo inside, Kuyt on the right

Bring Bellamy on for Hendo is what I would do right now. Far too slow in the build up.

This ref isn't doing us any favors.. We need to bring Carroll on because he would have to be allowed to do everything.  How Carroll's been judged by refs this year, if Stoke were judged the same way they'd have 25 fouls, not 4.

Suarez is great, but Hendo's gone quiet again.  Adam started well but has been the worst player on the pitch for the last 30 minutes, very rarely getting a pass completed or a good set piece in.  Lucas has had some cracking tackles but he keeps giving the ball away as well.  Downing's not doing too great either, but we really just seem to be alienating him on the wings.  I actually think Carra's done pretty well, he was hard done by that pen.

Start the half so well and then they break away and get a pen and we lose our footing on the game. Kenny needs to knock a couple of heads together. Stoke play what I'd term as ugly football and need to be put in their place. Get a grip redmen

It's always like this after an international game. Got to sort it out. Anyway, make the changes early in the 2nd half (Coates, Carroll and Bellamy (if available)). We need to change the tactics a little so that we have more goal threat. Only Suarez seemed capable of scoring 1st half.

After such a bright start, we got bogged down in long grass.
For some reason whenver Agger,Carra and Sketel are in backline and im watching the game live, its never goes well

Lucas and Adam (especially) passing has been f.ucking abysmal. Henderson looks pretty static too.

Until they got their soft pen I thought we did well, really well, we pressed them and took the game to them. We should have had a pen, old mate for them hand balled the f.ucking thing as clear as day. The ref has been pretty s.*i*e, I don't see this :censored: doing us any favours in the second half.
I think the goal rattled us - f.ucking Adam thinks he's Mr Hollywood, utter tripe in possession, play it simple you silly man!

Throw own the hair cut after 60 mins, their keeper is a flapper, ping in some crosses for the big man. Defensively Stoke are the worst team defending set-pieces (apparently). And they do look ropey defending set-pieces.

The lads need to gain their composure, go out there play their football and see what happens. Adam especially needs to either f.uck off or up his game.

Right, that's it, we will score. I'm going 3 goals to the good for us.

Can't help but think back to that stupid thread on RAWK where Adam was likened to Xabi and Pirlo. Ok he is having a stinker but we are playing stoke ffs.

I reckon if we :censored: them hard in the 2nd half we can get 2 easily but im worried about Carra at the back.

I'd take Carra off in the 2nd half. It's got to a stage where he hasn't got the legs. Give him a coaching role.
