I'm a Real Sociedad supporter, but Liverpool is my second team, since Liverpool caused awe in old Atocha stadium in the early eighties in the UEFA cup. Then John Aldridge (1) made us crazy, what a clever forward. And now Alonso's transfer has been a relief for our balance numbers

I've seen Alonso more than 40 games in the Spanish Primera Division at the Anoeta Stadium. For that matter, I can tell you he knows to perform well against organized midfields, since Primera Division is not a joke.
In 40 games I've seen him 33 bad games, or something. He was not only very young but a key player. He can do long passes that can be controlled easily by the receiver. Don't expect too many goals from him though, his best is definitely on passing, he can make things work like a clock.
I'm being pretty honest with this, I'd tell you that he's ****** if he was so, but I think that when the premier league season ends you'll have no doubts about his presence in the starting eleven.
Cheers!
