The loan talk is a load of p*sh. Lucas is here to stay for tje long-term.

I still stand by what I have said all along about Lucas in that I believe he is a better attacking MF than defensive MF. I remember watching him in an advanced role vs. Newcastle a couple of seasons back when we hammered them 5 or 6-1 and he was awesome.

Why do people cleave to their outdated and stubborn ideas about Lucas.. Hes not good enough ect ect...

What a load of rubbish. He does the job he is asked to do, has never been petulant or moaned over the years when fans have been on his back, works hard and year on year is improving as a player.

He is an asset to the club.

Pre-season I felt we've really missed Lucas. As soon as he came on yesterday we looked a far better team. He's tenacious to say the least.
Am glad to hear more and more people are now on his side of the fence even though there are still one or two detractors out there.

Lucas v. Valencia

It was only a friendly, it was only one half blah blah blah this clip clearly shows just how good he is becoming. It's pretty remarkable just how much he has progressed over time, he's always played within himself for a long time here but he now has full confidence in his own abilities, and he is really starting to blossom. Still has 1-2 more years of developing before we'll see his peak imo, hopefully he will stay here till the twilight of his career.

hmm well that's your opinion man.

I would say that from what i saw the last 2 games ,Lucas was ok. Managed to keep himself out of foul trouble near the box and was pretty much in control, nothing spectecular but ok.
