Have just finished Duke nukem Forever.. it has been universally panned in almost evry review but I really enjoyed it, loads of good fun and humour despite the poorish graphics and long load times.

I just bought Borderlands not long ago, I've loved it so far great game. Still waiting for Battlefield III though.

I have been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Now looking at all the reviews and reactions, this would be down as the game of the decade.

However, it just isnt. Maybe its because games are so poor, to have a decent one come along makes it unbeatable. To me this game is the first one, but with better graphics, and more annoying.

Like I said, the graphics are better, and yes, certain aspects of the game are impressive. But I am comparing this game to the first one. And my general comparison is, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is boring as sin. To do any interesting moves in this game costs energy, and one move costs you all your energy ! Trust me, play the game and see for yourself. You can punch through walls and snap an enemies neck, awesome ! but consider this, doing so eats up the rest of the gameplay. It doesnt matter if enemies havent seen you do this action, they know where you are ! you cant sneak around them, they know your there ! Your exact position.

For me the game is awful. All the reviews saying this game is awesome are simply ignoring the oh so many annoying aspects of this game. For me, its just cr@p. Avoid it like the plague.

Its actualy an awesome game

No midlife crisis yet, christ imagine what I will be like when that happens !

Im not the only one who thinks the same about this game. My kids were excited when I got it and my second oldest booted me of me comp and played it himself. After about an hour he said the same as me, its not that great. Now he couldnt put his finger on what exactly lets it down, he just recognised its not as good as the reviews were saying.

The longer you play it the more you realise, you are doing the same thing through each series of play. And the boss fights really are boring.

After watching us play it, my oldest had made up his mind and lost interest altogether.

Maybe its just me. A lot of people found the Halo games awesome, I found them tedious.
