From the improvement he showed under Rafa in the Summer I'd have Igor in for Diao cos if he plays in the middle and shows the form he did in pre season I think he'll do a good job.

Yes, a deserved salute for Igor. He was supposed to come on to waste some time on the clock and also assist in defending. Little did I ever expect him to score so well for a player who has been so disappointing under Houllier.

hopefully igor biscan can displace diao in centre midfield until gerrard comes bak

It was a good goal alright but I think you need a lie down. :laugh:

I hope biscan wasnt drug tested after the game as he must have been on some strong stuff. :laugh:

In fairess to Biscan, under Houllier he was played in many positions, put up with being laughed at by the fans, but yet he always gave 100% and never complained.

I was very happy to see him score, because he deserved it. He may not be the most skillfull but he gives his all to the team and lately I could not say that about all the players. I think he is a squad player that will improve, and deserves this thread.

What a difference a Goal makes in terms of fans reactions to a player......I shall commend Biscan on scoring a quality goal but remain consistent and say he's not good enough at this level WHATEVER position you play him in.....
