If he can stay fit, it's there for the taking for Nadal. Good effort by Tomic today but he fell apart once Djokovic came back. He has a good future ahead of him though.

Just got back. What a day, I am well and truly shattered. Got there around 0730, hoping to just get in for a ground pass. Was in the ground in less than 2 hours and at the turnstiles they said tickets were still available for court 1, result! Saw that great bryan brothers game with lodra and the other fella. 2 sets down and they came back, but Bryan's won it anyway.

Then by chance happened to be strolling past I think court 14 and who should be practicing? Rafa! Managed to get very close to him, will post some pics in a bit and some vids. We exited as he was about to finish, waited by the gate so to maybe get an autograph. Me and my mate ended up chasing after him and the security guards, proper papparazzi style.

Saw a bunch of other matches including Sania Mirza in ladies doubles, Liam Broady and then by chance we thought lets seeif we can get resale tickets for centre court. Got them, 10 squid each and ended up in centre court watching Murray Nadal.

Was a boss day out. My only regret is I didn't go in the 1st week as I wanted to see Federer and Caro Wozniaki.

Oh we also saw Ivanicevic, he was playing some gentlemans invite, and also Martina Navratalova. :D

On the way out we passed the cafe and saw Tim Henman and John Macenroe, I think they were filming today at Wimbledon, post Murray doom and gloom. :D

Well he's probably enjoying himself playing some tennis before he goes back to football management I guess. He probably knows someone there to let him play on one of the courts. Nadal is his compatriot after all...

Was hoping Sharapova would win given, she's done well to get this far after her operation. Kvitova looks a beast of a player though.

She's champion in my book any day of the week. :D

Kvitova was ruthless though, well deserved.

Listen, and understand. That Nadal is out there. He can't be bargained with. He can't be reasoned with. He doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And He absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
