Sorry my opening post was a bit vague,i meant football supporters in general,not LFC fans, we are too clever for that:D

Kuyt "By a lot of our fans but other fans hope we don't play him against them"
Finnan "By everyone"
Riera "Don't deserve to be here but very underrated in terms of footballing skills"
Bellamy "Not sure how good he is now and he has always been a menace to moral but he is way better then he gets credit for".

Thought his replacement (Arbeloa) only cost us £3-4 million which we got back when we sold him.

Bellamy. his willingness to put in a shift is incredible especially when you compare his efforts to someone like Torres who was far too busy worried about his hair and manicure appointment. sure he is a controversial figure but he's a really good player as well. always admired his determination. a born winner.

Murphy is a great shout imo as he scored some vital goals and always put in a shift, but was shipped out by Rafa before kicking a ball for him without too many complaints from our fans.

I think Crouch is a shout too. What he brought to the team in terms of hold up play was vital to us for a few years and despite that he got a lot of stick. Overall his goal return was not too bad either. We signed him for 7 mil and sold him for 12 so all in all a great piece of business imo.

Kuyt gets my vote though. Consistent, scores crucial goals, never complains and is actually a really intelligent player when you watch him, just lacks a little technically but an excellent player.

Thanks for your opinion mate but I think Henchoz deserves a mention in this thread as an underrated player.

Litmanen was one of those players that would have become a legend in the world of football if he wasn't plagued by injuries.

Remember his last season when he played for Malmö FF and when he finally was back from injury he fell from a ladder and broke his leg. I had travelled for 8 hours to see him play. :laugh:

This man haven't had it easy.

He is still playing for FC Lahti I think and last I heard he hade scored about 10 goals in 20 matches. He is 40 years old now. :buttrock

Though finns will always be crappier then swedes they are cool in my book. :buttrock
