I have mixed feelings about Europa League, it would be a great competition to test our youngsters in and a chance to win some silverware. On the other hand if we don't qualify, we would have less pressure domestically.

Less pressure domestically does not automatically translate to better performances. Players with less pressure are more likely not produce results than the other way round...At least that's how it worked under the former regime.

Yep this needs swerving big time the qualifiers start in june 30 games to get to the final, we have Suarez & Lucas in that Copa America, plus Andy Carroll, Kelly, Flanagan, Spearing 20 Liverpool players called up for the England under 21 tournement.

only Carroll and Spearing were named in Pearce's team Ciggy.

Wisdom, Flanagan, Robinson, Shelvey, Coady, Ngoo and Ince are in the under-19 squad and they should be off for some tournament from 20 July to 1 August 2011 in Romania.

delighted to see so many of our players representing England once again. shows the quality of our youth but it also means we're gonna have to deal with them getting injured.

Not necessarly we produced great results in the past month because we didn't have anything to play for and all our training was focused on League games (we weren't in any other competitions) so our concentration and focus was the League. If we don't qualify for EL we would less week day games and thus our focus will be concentrated domestically, which in turn can produce better results, depending on who we sign in the summer.

Had those lardyarse fatcats of football's governing body not turned the UEFA Cup into this laughable shadow of itself it would have been worth participating. But with the early start, number of games, playing Thursdays and the rest of it it's just an attempt at making more cash. A sad state of affairs. I thought the old cup was a great tournament.

Our European Cup triumphs were founded on experience players gained by winning the UEFA Cup. After winning the UEFA Cup in '73 and '76 we went on to compete in five european cup finals during the next decade, winning four. Also, many of our 2001 UEFA Cup winning team were still around four years later in Istanbul. The UEFA Cup was a great competition. It should never have been messed with.

After watching us in this seasons Europa League well lets just say i never want to see that ever again, Ive never been so fed op or bored of liverpool in my whole entire life. It needs fecking off its cr@p !!!!
