Went to Mecca yesterday mate, to do the Umra, had a fantastic evening with prayer and all. Just walking there I heard some people were sympathetic about Bin Ladin and others thought that he should have had a trial.

Yeah I think he should have stood trial as well like Saddam did. Would have ended up getting the death penalty anyway.

I'm going to the south of Thailand later this year too, hope I don't run into any of this :censored: there. Starting to get a bit worried as im going to Krabi and Trang.

Went to Phi Phi last year, very Islamic but such a beautiful place. The whole of southern Thailand is Islamic and it stretches down to Malaysia and Indonesia I think.

Had no problems though, don't know what it'd be like now.

When I think of Thailand I think of: smiley people, Buddha, ping pong balls and pretty men. Not Islamic extremists.
