I was a heavy drinker for years then slowly I started to get really bad hangovers, getting sick all day and bad migranes. I tried to fight through it but in the end it wasn't worth it. Went to the doctors and got all kind of tests done. They couldn't find anything. I was told I might be allergic to alcohol.

I can drink 2 pints without dying the next day, if I have 3 I'm taking a risk with the next day. 4 and I can write of the next day. So after Christmas I gave it up. It's been very hard and I do miss it but I just have to get used to it and I'm finding it easier each weekend.

MH, why have you stopped??

get a blood test done to see if your allergic or not.

I haven't stopped, no alcohol in Saudi :sniffle
