1. Jones -       Good enough as back up
4. Meireles -    Quality will get better with better wingers
7. Suarez -      World Class
9. Carroll -       Young, English, gives us options and brings others into the game
12. Pacheco -   Quality, young and versatile, pointless to get rid without giving him a chance
22. D Wilson -   Quality, young and versatile could be the LB for a decade when he makes the cut
25. Reina -       Best keeper in the world
30. Suso -        Quality player, could become a legend and become a 40 million plus player
31. Sterling -    As Above
33. Shelvey -    Very dynamic, has it all when he finds his feet he could be the new Stevie G
34. Kelly -         Awesome talent, will become Liverpool Legend
35. Coady -      Scouser, young, versatile, leader could be a great player
38. Flanagan -   Scouser, young, very similar to Carra in his attitude could become a great
                       squad player
40. Ayala  -      Very similar to Hyypia (not blessed with pace but has good positional skills),
composed on the ball, Young, could become great squad player
43. Bouzanis -   3rd choice keeper, young and has potential
45. Ince -         English, young, fast skillful winger and could become a great quad player
47. Wisdom -    Young, english, powerhouse of a defender, leader, could be better then Kelly and lead
                      the defense for a  decade49. Robinson -
49. Robinson -    Young, english, similar to Flangan with possible more potential could become agreat
squad player and maybe upsurp Wilson in the future
- Mavinga -       Similar to Ayala not in playing style but what we could get from him

Undecided (If NESV give us signicant funds id keep all these players, if we need to recoup money its a different story)

2. Johnson + Battle it out with Kelly for RB, Versatile and better CBs will bring out the best in him
                - Kelly is a more solid RB and younger, we could still command a high fee for him
could help us improve weaker areas in the team
5. Agger    + One of the true quality players in the squad, world class when fit, gives our team a new
dimension when he plays, would help new defenders coming through with his experience
                - Far too injury prone would still command a high fee, stability is what we need at the back
8. Gerrard  + The heartbeat of the team, a legend and deserves to retire with us
                - Wrong side of 30, becoming another injury prone player, need stability in the midfileld
would command a high fee still
18. Kuyt     + Heart like a lion and always up for the big games, great guy to have in the locer room
                - In his 30s, technically not good enough for the wing and is 3rd choice striker
21. Lucas   + Improved alot over the last 18 months and is still young, get character and does a job for
                   the team, good squad player
                - Still not the type of player who can control a game, doesnt score or get assists enough
Aquilani      + Quality player who is already on the books, looks to be over his injurys, xabiesque
passing and Kenny could breath new life into his Liverpool career
                - Jury still out on injurys and desire to play in premiership, would get a decent fee for him
- Insua      + Young (still not many LBs out thier as good as him at his age), already on the books,
gained more experience could a great little player for us as 1st or 2nd choice, with
better CB 2 allow him to attack more freely. Wouldnt need to be rushed into the
                   first team like last time
                - Maybe too leightwieght, Probally wants to leave now

GET RID

3. Konchesky -  :censored:
6. Aurelio -       Quality player when fit, never fit
10. J Cole -       Past it, old, on a high wage and we could still get a decent fee for him
14. Jovanovic -  :censored:
16. Kyrgiakos -   Too old and slow, prone to mistakes
17. Maxi -          :censored:
23. Carragher -   Too old retire as a legend
24. Ngog -         :censored:
26. Spearing -     Never gonna be good enough, deserves to be a first teamer somewhere
28. Poulsen -      :censored:
32. Darby -         Same as Spearing
36. Irwin -          As Above
37. Skrtel -         Brilliant on his day, liability most days
39. Eccleston -    Not good enough
41. Hansen -       Not good enough
42. Gulacsi -        Not good enough
44. Mendy -         Not good enough
46. Amoo -          Not good enough
48. Bruna -          Not good enough
- Degen -            :censored:
- El Zhar -           Not good enough
- Cooper -           Not good enough

On Loan

- Chamberlain - Dont know enough about him
- Kohlert - As Above
- Roberts - As Above
- Saric - As Above
- Sokolik - As Above
- Thomas -As above

Gulacsi not good enough.

Kenny has him second choice over Brad Jones, and Bouzanis cannot even make the reserves. :p

And? hes still not good enough to ever be first choice. I want a young back up keeper who we could actually see replacing Reina in the future.

I think Gulasci is better then Bouzanis just, the reason id sell him is that we could get a tidy fee for him.

He will never be good enough, go on tell me, you watched every game he has featured in for the reserves, every single game he played at Tranmere whilst on loan, well Kenny must think he has something about him at the age of 20 years old because he's on the bench and wouldn't be there if Kenny thought otherwise. :shifty

Don't even bother replying to me because the outs on that list and the outs if we need to recoup money is something you do on some kind of FM game ffs, you would keep 5 players who have some first team experience and are over the age of 20 years old, thank god you aren't manager of this club.

P.S Insua is out of contract come June 30th he won't be here next season, reason why, because he is gash.

I was more thinking along the lines of in an ideal world getting rid of them over the next 3-4 years sorry i didnt make that clear. Id also sell Insua further down the line but for now id sell Aurielo and Konchesky and have insua as second fiddle behind a better starter. Kennys replaced Jones as hes been shipped out on loan. Gulasci is not better then Jones  and yes i have watched almost every game for the reserves and i dont think hes good enough.Yeh ive not watched every game so what? ive watched enough.Couldnt care less is Kenny rates i think for myself.  Again i dont play footy managing games dont know what some peoples obsessions are with giving people on here this label just because they dont rate half our squad. Judging from your unecessary attack your probally part of the old timer right wing gang on here............. :censored: look at that i guess i like labelling people 2

Of course you were. :wwww

Unfortunately Kenny disagrees with you that Gulacsi is good enough otherwise he wouldn't have let the other only experienced goalkeeper on our books leave on loan and place full trust in a 20 year old goalkeeper to come in and become direct number 2 at this precise moment in time for Pepe Reina. I'd rather trust Kenny over a player than some fantasist if I'm being honest.

where on earth do you read this sh!te? Adam Johnson is not a man city reject. they have not rejected him at all and despite a break down in his relationship with Mancini he is a professional and gets paid £65k a week to play football, in whatever competition he's asked to play in. He may not feature as much as he'd like and he may feel he can't get along with Mancini but he has not been rejected.

Is anyone else like me in that they're actually excited for this summer transfer window for the first time in years? Don't get me wrong, Rafa made plenty of great buys...but he made plenty of terrible ones too, and toward the end it was just painful. But now we've got a bit of money behind us (how much remains to be seen) and a manager who knows what he's doing. After culling through all of the rumor sites, I've seen some really fantastic names bandied around - here are the most common ones:

Serious possibilities:

Charlie Adam
Adam Johnson
Ashley Young
Leighton Baines
James McCarthy
Taye Taiwo
Jose Enrique
Whats-his-name Izaguirre
Scott Dann
Gary Cahill

I don't know about you, but I'm happy with pretty much every name on that list.

We're also rumored to be in solid competition for:

Karim Benzema (would be ridiculous)
Eden Hazard (apparently doesnt' want to come here)
Romelu Lukaku
Davide Santon
Fabio Coentrao
Simon Kjaer
Yann M'Vila

Once again, I'd be thrilled to get any of them. Honestly, how fantastic would it be to even have 3 of the names on that list?

He has 58 assists in the last 5 seasons which for me prove he is very consistent at what he does, he also scores goals.

He gives us something we don't have in the wide areas and that is pace, creativity, crossing ability of high quality, he can beat a man, he can hug the touchline and deliver from the byline and also deliver quality balls without having to beat a man, he can also play like an old out & out winger or a modern day wingman.

He's a low risk signing for me and will hit the ground running rather than signing some continental player that may take 6 months just to adapt to the physicality and pace of the Premier League.

you sir are his agent

Haha  :D

Nah Neil I agree with him.  Young had a great season last year and Villa finished 6th.  Villa have fallen apart this year.  They play without desire and he has suffered.  He still gets plenty of goals and assists, but when you play with a team full of downers and who are going through all that garbage.... I mean look at Stevie this year.  He's a fantastic player who has suffered on a sub-par team with players who didn't want to be there like torres.

I think Young would be a great signing.

And the thing about Adam Johnson... there was literally like one article saying we would try to buy him and we are linked with him.  I would love to sign him.  He's pacey, he can cross and his shot is beyond incredible.  He shoots as hard and almost as accurately as Stevie does.  But I really don't think city will sell him, especially not to us.  He still plays at times and is a great player.  If they sell him, it won't be to direct competition.

If they sold him to us tho, it could possibly be my favorite signing of the summer.

I suspect Charlie Adam has had his chance and blown it.... hence the media seem to be stirring the pot at present to keep him in the frame.
we have the time to go out and find someone better and cheaper.
