Nemeth and pacheco - Are either ready to step up?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I dont see the fuss with Pacheco anyway, I don't think he'll cut it. What I have seen of him in the side hasn't particularly impressed me or stood out in any way. If anyone could see that he was good enough it would be Kenny

And that's the key. It doesn't really matter one tiny bit what anyone's opinion of Pacheco is, other than the Liverpool manager, and his opinion at the moment is clearly that he's not ready. We can argue till the cows come home about our own opinions of the player but that's not going to make a blind bit of difference.

People may ask why he hasn't had a look in whilst the likes of Shelvey and Wilson have. The main difference is that those two players were already first team players at their respective clubs before they came here. Pacheco hasn't had that luxury.

Daniel Pacheco is set to join Championship side Norwich City on emergency loan until May 31, 2011.

The deal will go through once clearance is received from the Football League.

Liverpool's No.12 is currently away on international duty with Spain U21s preparing for Thursday night's match with France.

Norwich boss Paul Lambert said: "Dani is a lad we've seen playing for Liverpool's first team this season and I've been talking to Kenny Dalglish about him for a few weeks now.

"He's technically very good as you'd expect having been with clubs like Barcelona and Liverpool and the fact he's away with Spain U21s speaks volumes for his ability and potential."

Pacheco will team up with former Red Zak Whitbread who is at Carrow Road and the Canaries are currently second in the Championship as they eye promotion to the Barclays Premier League.

excellent, time for him to show what he can do eh? Championship standard obviously but it'll get him some match fitness and a decent run of games

A great move. Get some needed game time. Norwich play some lovely little football under lambert. He'll get the physical side for sure and sets him up nicely for returning to pre season ready to break into team. Could well become one of andys providers. Him and Suarez behind the big fella.

Seems like a good move to me, they look to play football and are near the top of the championship so he will be playing in a decent side that have a bit of confidence.
Good luck to him. :)

Had to be done really and thankfully somethings happended to get this kid on the field. Just hope they do actually stick him the side as lets face it they are on a hell of a run with the lads in the team at the moment. If he can shine and come back and do a job here then smashing, short of that hes in the shop window and we may receive a decent bid for his services.
