If we play like we did today we can definitely get 4th
Even the weaker players played well and we look more like a team than we have for years

it's a shame we lost at West Ham, otherwise we'd be within touching distance of 4th.

It's a tall order, but possible if we keen a run of form going.

Just think where we could be right now had we appointed Kenny in the summer. Anyway I hope he gets the job full time.

Kenny just seems to say the exact right things every time he speaks! I love the way he turns the questions of reporters back on them! It cracks me up.

At the pre-match press conference they asked him if he would have a bottle of red ready for fergie and he indignantly replied "it's my birthday!". Brilliant

Was it in the away Sparta leg the other week when he had a go at some journo for talking about Skrtel speculation? "Behave yourself"  :D

Kenny and Clarke need to get the lads playing at the kind of level they did yesterday on a consistent basis. At the moment and this isn't just Kenny's problem but I think the players only pick themselves up for the 'big-ger' matches. Where the hype and atmos surrounding the game lifts the lads, away to West Ham, Wigan et al on a satday, sunday afternoon where it's a low-er key game we seem to struggle.

Have to say though, Kenny has turned us around in the short time he has been here, and yesterdays passing especially in the first half was really nice on the eye. Patient build-up, no panicking with the ball at feet, movement off the ball and interchanging of positions was exceptional, at times we carved united open and made them look very average. I hope we can keep this style going, we looked so balanced and Kenny AND Clarke should take all the plaudits they get because it's them and the backroom staff who have got this bunch of players playing as they are.

And Suarez what a coup this lad is, for years we've lacked a creative player like this Luis. He will get so many assists and his fair share of goals too, he was the kind of player Rafa's Liverpool lacked/missed, amidst all the industry in his team(s) we never had someone like Luis, oh we had Garcia for a short while who'd pop up with important goals. But IMHO he was nowhere near as consistent, tenacious, non-ball waster like, than Suarez. Kenny (over more time) will bring back a style that we'll be able to sit back and enjoy once again.

Good point.  Was kicking meself yesterday thinking about the draw to Wigan and loss to West Ham between 2 great victories over Chelsea and Utd.

If we'd of won both them games or even one of them, we'd still be talking about 4th.

Maybe the Europa League is the reason for our poor performances in those games?

Agree that its a big issue though.  We cant pick and choose when we decide to perform to our level.

2 years? thats a feking insult that is, if it's true.

He should be given 4 or 5 years. Let him know the faith in him is there and that this is what the club needs. basically with 2 years they're saying...  we'll see how it goes.

hope it's not true mind.

I think 3 should do it. I think lessons should be learnt over what happened with Rafa's five year deal. Obviously Kenny and Rafa are two totally different figures in relation to LFC but the fact remains we shot ourselves in the foot last time around. The length of a contract doesnt even nearly show what Kenny means to LFC so it shouldnt matter IMO
