Andy Carroll signs for West Ham

The Premiership - General Discussion

I think we'll see him on in the second half. He'll huff and puff, but I suspect he won't blow any doors down. Players like Suarez and come in and make a difference immediately just with their individual brilliance but I think Carroll will take a little more time. That's OK by me, once we've had Carroll playing with the team for a little while it is going to be exciting, and I'm prepared to wait. Anything more is a bonus.

i really can not wait to see how the partnership between him and suarez develops - i have a good feeling that this might turn in to being a partnership the likes of which have been the backbone of our great sides in the past.

And no better team for them to start against - COME ON THE RED MEN

Carroll has to start.

No Vidic and Ferdinand!

Do me a favour, bringing him on at 70 mns in a n intensive game is a bed error of judgement.

start him, then sub him if it aint happening after 65 mins. IMO

He was very rusty and lacked sharpness but his presence straight away on the pitch was felt, I guess when you're 6 foot 4 and a strong lad it's not hard to be noticed, I think he'll add something very different to our team especially against teams like Stoke away.

Very rusty. Not that he had lots of time but I didn't like his movement. It was probably what he was told to do though.

I hate the playingstyle where attackers doesn't chase the ball.

He'll be better for the run. Don't expect miracles too soon, give him time.
Him and Suarez, will be lethal for us next season.
