Well the Premier League has more Wigans, Stokes and big burly atheltic f'uckers who you seldom come across in the Spanish top flight, where there is more emphasis on technical qualities - passing, movement, skill etc.. Also he learned to play the game in Spain, so it makes sense to say that's where he would be best suited to play. I mentioned Arsenal because they have as good a record at bringing youngsters through their first team as any other side I can think of, and they play more like a Spanish side and less like your typical English side. What do I want to see from him? Exactly what you want to see from him.

your not the only one thinking this rbg.
this thread is almost 2 years old now and the lad has barely played for us.many of us thought he was ready to be integrated into the team then and would be a star now.
is must be just us fans who rate him and not any of the last 3 managers.

anyway i fear that he'll be gone in the summer and we will have to watch him progress with another club :(

He's a special talent ,who was given a chance against Northampton ,and then made a scapegoat ( by the clown who was managing at the time ) for the teams inept performance ...Something along the lines of ...... "He's had moments when he's looked good, others when not quite so," admitted Hodgson. "He's working on his game. He featured in the unfortunate Northampton game.

"It was a great opportunity for those outside the first 13 or 14 to really show me, 'You should be thinking of me.

"When will he get his chance again? Probably in one of these games in Europe, who knows, may he will burst back onto the scene, but it is very difficult to do that in a reserve game."

Hodgson at his inspirational best

I would think KK would have given Pacheco a chance ahead of ngog by now, I really am a bit surprised to be honest.  KK may just be trying to get that bit of confidence into ngog, but he needs to be gone in the summer.

If we aren't gonna play him, we need to stick him out on loan.  Not to some garbage average team like the rest of our loans, but to a team that needs a striker right now.  Newcastle would be great in my opinion, they are a decent team who need a striker badly right now.  We should loan him out but keep him in the prem so he can get used to what playing in the prem feels like.

He could be a huge asset in the next couple years for us.

Maybe KD doesn't think he is ready yet?

I mean that's 3 managers in a row now thinking that Pacheco isn't ready yet.

Im baffled as to why he doesnt play for us more often as well.
But i trust Rafa and kenny know more about that than me.

They're the one's that have seen all the training sessions etc.

The problem is...were do you play Pacheco?  His preferred position is behind the striker and he isn't gonna get many games in that position with Gerrard, Meirles, Cole and Suarez all capable of playing there.

On the wings?  Well that may be worth a shot but he isnt a natural winger and how would he be at tracking back etc?

He can play in a 3 with Suarez and Miereles behind carroll all interchanging, dont understand all this where does he fit in talk to be honest. If Maxi and Cole can fit in the team on a regular basis so can Pacheco

am i the only one who thinks Pacheco isn't good enough?  3 managers have ignored him now and it's no mistake...the guy is like Nemeth and lacks the quality to make it at this level

He won the golden boot in the Under 19 Euro Cup and was probably Spain's best player in the competition. He at least deserves a chance as I have rarely seen a bad game from him.

feck Arsenal anyway! if he hasn't got to grips with what our expectations are as a FC his so called ability counts for nothing mate.

Fails to deliver? what like Ngog Jova Maxi Cole etc.

Whens he failed anyway? Northampton? so what everyone did.

Every other time hes been given minutes hes given a good account of himself. He doesnt even get sub appearances no more like he use to and now the teams worse and hes better so i cant for the life of me understand why hes not being given a fair chance like so many of the senoir players do.

No ones saying its a given hes gonna set the world alight he might fail spectacually but he deserves a chance to try.
