Online play is getting more and more boring. Whatever game it is, you will find people not playing the game how it is meant to be played.

Call of Duty: Campers. They just sit there. I have watched my brother wander around and get constantly killed while he goes nuts pointing out the same old same old. They sit there, wait for a chance and BANG a kill. YAWN.

Street Fighter: Auto pads. I have actually sat there for a few matches watching a Ken player just duck and low punch for a minute none stop. While they are doing this you cannot touch them. Whatever move you do, the auto low punch stops it dead. I go online for a match and I am treated to this. YAWN.

Other things LAG SWITCHES. Have you ever played a game where its lagged and suddenly you are dead? XBOX is famous for these. What they do is interrupt the connection to a players XBOX enabling them to move freely in games. In Call of Duty, this is more noted for the head shot kills. Look it up, this is the length people go to to win.

It is getting more rare to find a player who just wants to have fun in an online game. The only way I can enjoy it is to play against people I know. Other than that it is just simply lame and boring. There are simply too many cheaters, lamers and talkers (bloody mics) for me to enjoy playing online.

I agree about call of duty, my youngest brother camps in that game online, and I slap him in the head tell him not to do that, but what do you expect from teenagers now a days anyways.

I used to play a lot of Battlefield Bad Company 2 online, and I used to go nuts on people camping with snipers!!! it was unbelievable, in a team of 16, you had 12 players with snipers. Thank god they made a server limiting the number of snipers.

I'll stick to football manager and pretend to be a world class manager and better than mourinho

The snipers in Bad Company, or bush wookies as I call them, p*ss me off. Bunch of useless b@stards. I don't mind one or two recons in a side counter sniping and mortering tanks that are shelling from range, but more than 4 in your own team f*cks me off, especially when you get them all nesting beside eachother in the same spot. I normally play hardcore, so I just lob a granade in the middle of the b@stards and leg it, or stick a tracer dart on their heads.

Speaking of Battlefield, the teaser trailer showing gameplay footage of Battlefield 3 looked mind-blowing. By far the best looking game I've ever seen to date. I'm building a new PC anyway, so its grand.

I never played BF2BC2 other than hardcore, hardcore is so much fun and just love it when snipers don't know whats coming for them

my favorite is engineer mode, ak47u and a dart pistol. Most of the time I play with that mode. Although the game is very different than COD, BF looks more realistic to me in terms of combat, visual effects and sound. You can hear the sound of gun fire and explosions a mile away. Also I just love it when the opposition is held up in a building and you just fire an RPG and catch them by surprise by blowing up a hole lol

BF3 is looking good!

I'm trundling down to gamestation in a bit to acquire Crysis 2, cant wait, heard so much about this title for years and finally get the chance to see what all the fuss is about. Anyone else got it yet? any good?

Its on all formats, I'm playing it on the xbox. Just got through the first hour and I have to say its stunning. The controls are fluid, the interface is intuitive and doesnt leave the game, stealth mode(cloaked) is great and always one button tap away. I've only had the pistol and scarab machine gun upto now so I cant yet say how the combat really fares yet as I've just been running amock cloaked up killing bods. The visuals are crisp and bright, the lighting is the best I've seen. I'm already hearing on the forums that multiplayer is brilliant but I'm going to get upto scratch in single player before venturing over there. Already though I can say its a 'must buy'.
