We were hum drum last night there is no getting away from it, ok so we were not at full strength so there are some plusses.
I think the posters who are moaning about us being a little too defensive must be on something! I woule rather see us not conceeding goals and scraping wins opposed toweek in week out goal fests.
Tightening up defence has been a massive bonus for us since kenny came in, but christ he cant fix everything in a few weeks.
The offence will come. We for sure have the players who can fire it up when required and we have also signed some proper stars. Also look at all that potential in the youth setup.

Yeh i must be on something ,how dare we ask our team to play a bit more risky against a side which has just returned from a 2 month break of no football at all....What a dreamer am i....
You know what even on a practical level it would have been much better if we tried getting the away bonus goal and avoid potentialy ,although very slim ,accidents in Anfield.
I agree we are not yet ready to walk to any stadium with an offensive approach but giving up in advance is just unaccaptable.
Totally agree, it was an embarrassing display form us and if someone had asked you which team hadn't played for a few months you'd probably have picked Liverpool, it was utter garbage in attack, but what do you expect with Kuyt, Maxi and N'Gog, 3 truly awful players who seem to be getting worse by the match.
