oh dear oh dear :no
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Taken from one of todays tabloid: quoting the player-

"I took the decision to leave because I heard about Cheaskis's Interest. They were pushing hard for me, which meant they really wanted me" :D

Dear oh dear, dont make me laugh. The owner wanted him (his trophy purchase), not the manager. I reckon they'll have ructions there between Drogba, Anelka and that W**k"  Sulks all round.

"if no-one had wanted me, I would have played happily. It's been a very tough season. The progress has not been the best. They've had problems and are in a difficult moment but I helped the team and did my job all the time"

He has been a sulk for a while, so saying that he'd continue playing happily.........he's lying again., and no, IMO, he was not  doing his job all the time.

Btw, he was also quoted has saying "I want to win the Champions League for the Owner" or words to that affect- Ar**licker is all I can think off.

Glad the whole thing is over now and think we should now all move on, Torres was given a wakeup call this afternoon and just might be regretting his decision, that alone will hurt more than anything we can say or sing at him.

like kenny has said its time to stick together and put all our efforts behind the people who want to be at the club.

I think commentators summed it up when he was subbed.
I wonder what Roman will think of that decision

Poor old Carlo, earlier they had described the signings as gift from rich parents to a child who may not have a wanted a new toy

"It was very difficult, Liverpool played a good game, with three at the back," Torres told Chelsea TV.

"We were not expecting that and maybe they took advantage of that.

"I think the fair result was the draw, it was unfair to lose that game, but now we are looking forwards to the next game and will keep fighting until the end.
