i think its a great move and at a good price, the owners know its a risk but they are going to make sure he has all the help to get the best out of him.

Kenny needs to help Carroll translate his love for newcastle to LFC,
2nd he needs to help address his anger and parting issues.
if he works as hard for our shirt as he did for newcastle then he will be a good signing.

so far from what Suarez said in his interview, he showed an enthusiasm to sweat blood for the club.
nothing so far from Carroll.

delighted we have him here even if the pricetag does raise a few eyebrows.imo we have potentially the best up and coming english striker in the leagues.he will offer us a totally different dimension up front to the fella who used to be here.
he can hold the ball up,will give us a good physical presense on set pieces and has a powerful shot plus the fact that he will compliment suarez and hopefully they will form a formiddable partnership to rival the best this league has ever seen.
everything about him ticks the right boxes and im delighted we have him playing here.
i believe he will be good for 20+ a season and should we address the winger issues in the summer it will only add to that.
a very very good signing for us and one all fans should be excited about.

Seems he is getting a lot of press at the moment based upon that he never really wanted to leave newcastle.

Whats the crack? Not seen any statement as of yet where he is making positive comments about being here! Does he want to be here?

your all looking for negatives. the lad has just opted to play his trade for a team hundreds of miles away from his home and with that comes the upheaval of house moves etc etc. He'll have a lot on his plate - give him some time

he'll be fine and of course he wants to be here but he has to save some face in front of the geordie fans. Wouldn't it have been nice if nando had shown us the same kind of respect!

It's obvious to me at this point that Nando is trying to become the greatest WWF heel in the history of football.

Seriously...the only people who could write something this cheeseball evil ply their trade in professional wrestling.

hmmm...Suarez ply his trade in Ajax, Amsterdam, Holland.
so Holland is nearer to Liverpool than Newcastle ?

coz from what i heard the lad is raving about LFC, cant wait to put on the no.7 shirt etc etc ...

I dont want to rain on anybody's parade but when was the last time a new signing keep quiet so much? needless to say a record club and english signing.
