Look at it this way, at least we HAVE the money available to pay that kind of money, and thats a nice feeling to have.

Great scenes with him and Kenny posing for pics. I want to get a big version of that for my desktop. Welcome to the best club in the world Andy!

Andy has a message for Fernando.

Way too expensive, but if we get into 4th somehow this season and his goals get us there, then he will have already paid back 15-20m, along with the likelihood of pepe staying and us attracting a couple of top quality players in the summer.

He is overpriced (25-30m was my max), most will agree, but theres huge potential in the lad. He offers something different than other strikers we have had in past years, a proper typical english striker. Cant wait to see him play

Well, while it is nice i would have preferred if we filled more holes in the team as there are a lot of holes to fill.

Neither the defense or wingers are anywhere near good enough and once again it is not like the owners have spent a single penny.

They just took the money for Torres and gave most of it immediately to Newcastle without investing a single penny themselves.

For once I'd like our owners to actually invest some of it's own money instead of using that which we make from player sales.

No matter how you slice and dice it that hasn't happened in this window.

Could have spent at least 10 million less on a striker as good as him. I just cant picture Liverpool spending 35 million on a single player... But yeah, if he gets us to 4th than I wouldnt care :D. Anyway, since he's injured, who will we play on Wednesday and Sunday? Surley not N'Gog?

they bought Suarez to play WITH TORRES. That's 22+ million they spent of their OWN money to start with.

Cheer up, it's a start and shows intent, we have bought the players we wanted, no second choices, and this is the Jan window, in the summer we will likely fill the other holes. Our team now has committed players only, the sulking gits, Torres and babel gone.

Hate to say it, but maybe Torres knew the owners are full of s**t and thats why he left.

Hope it is not true and they actually go out and buy players in the summer with their own money.
