agree that we can't take our frustration out on him but unless he starts banging away 20+ league goals a season then the club are gonna look pretty damn stooopid

I think he'll consistently bang in 15-30 a season.

i also think he'll consistently bang in 5-40 goals a season...

15 is the absolute least I would expect that's all.  15 isn't THAT bad of a return, just playing it safe lol.

Im sorry but Andy Carrol for £35mil is gotta some of the worst transfer business ive ever heard off, the lads got 6months premiership exp for christs sake! what would he have been worth if we bought him this time last year? like 4mil probably. This was the exactly the type of transfer i was afraid of when we appointed Commoli, this exactly the type of transfer he did at Spurs with Bentley and Bent paying way over the odds for over hyped English talent, i just pray Carroll comes good but i am dubious.

You should keep in mind that Fenway Sports Group have massive investors behind the public faces of Henry and Werner. YNWA

Some experts from Boston claim £35m for Carroll is 'nothing' for FSG, who're ready to spend $142m on a new Red Sox-man. http://bit.ly/gGhDhU

I don't think he will he a 25 goal a season man but his size and workrate mean he will give a lot to the team. When they hammered Sunderland earlier this season he was immense. Really glad we got him.
