Nunez - How good is he-1st xi or bench?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby JohnBull » Sat Oct 09, 2004 4:56 pm

Been away for a while and have come back to some strange postings - Where did "The Great Hom" come from ?

Nunez is GOOD and is a Rafa kind of player which is what we need. As I posted last year Cisse is a luxury player and is no good for the team at the moment. I only hope that the appearances of Biscan,Djou and Jimmy T are only a shop window exercise by the Boss.

Shows just how much damage Le Pouffe did in 5 years but its all going to plan.

Good news, how do you know?  What can you tell us?  How many times have you seen him play?

I'm positive but this is based on loyalty to Rafa, I've got no factual evidence and neither has anyone else yet.

a shop window excercise? you POOF!

Benitez wanted to "see more of biscan", in his own words as he only touched down in England in July! he's never seen the likes of these players play for LFC before, so its gonna be hard for him to root them out one by one. He hasnt seen the full picture , unlikemost liverpool fans over the past five years.

no ones gonna go up to him and say "hey mate, Biscan is cra*p" so he has to do what he feels is best by watching them play. Diao is actually pretty decent in midfield. hes not auful, just  not great. He does have good air ability.

I don't think we had much choice grt one. If we didn't agree to a deal then and there then we would have lost Owen on a free so what would you have done take £8m and Nunez or nowt?

well...lets not expect much from Nunez. So in case if he's bad then he's bad. If he's good, then we are all happy (ie....josemi).

But i will hereby make a very bold prediction. Nunez will be better than finnan at right wing  :D

Le Tallac, Pongolle, Nunez, Warnock, Diarra, Biascan, Daio are all players that have it all to do.

It is acknowledged, from his Valencia days, that RB got some average players putting in extraordinary performances and created a strong team that was well organised.

Given his track record, I'm sure at least one of these will go on to be a 1st choice without doubt.

He should be back in mid-November, a week before we play Arsenal, same with Gerrard I believe.
