I wouldnt even be @rsed not playing in the EL next season the thursday games, to many worthless games, and no excitement really.

we need to finish as high as we can this season, and pull out all the stops for next seasons campaign this season has been a complete write off because of Twit & Tw@t and Roy.

We need to add atleast 3 players before the window shuts and invest heavy in the summer and with the King at the helm we can achieve anything !!!

I agree , problem is getting value for money if such a thing exists.
A striker is the priority, followed closely by at least one wide player, a left back and a centre back.

To be honest right now would be glad of any decent player in one of those positions but the club are clearly not going to pay over the odds it seems.

I don't quite understand the Charlie Adam link, unless Kenny has an idea not to play any out an out wide player as he plays central mostly.

Im starting to worry that nobody is coming in this window.  Suarez deal seems to be in the same position as it was last week.  I havent heard much about Young or Warnock.  Even Adam is not looking great right now.

Hopefully we get them all before the window shuts though!

I heard some people saying wait until the summer etc...but i want Kenny to get the job full time and he can prove himself a lot better if he has some decent players now.  Not to mention they'd already be settled come August.

Me neither he isnt going to displace Gerrard or Meirelles, and isnt a holding midfielder, I cant see him a regular starter for us, unless its just reinforcements because Spearing & Poulson are not the answer either.

What he would give us is some steal and not let players bully their way through our midfield, but where he fits in is anyones guess? But I trust Kenny 100% and if he wants him he will get him but I wouldnt be paying over the odds for him and I doubt very much we will.

He would play out of his skin for us and run through brick walls like he does at Blackpool and this is something we have been lacking for quite a while to many players have been playing week in week out just for the wages and not for the jersey, Kenny will sort that out and tell them in no uncertain terms this is LFC your playing for if you dont like it you know where the door is.

City havent helped our cause though, I think some of our players have been thinking this past year or so why bother when we can never compete, never say never though who would have thought we would have won the CL with that team in 2005?

Anythings achievable if you believe in yourself.

I agree.

He is a ball player though, an excellent passer but doesn't have any pace, good vision and great at corners and free kicks too.
If Kenny wants him that's okay by me, is a good player I just can't see where he wpuld actually play.

City and Chelsea previously have ruined the transfer market, Ajax obviously see how much Dzeko went for so they want something similar.

Maybe Kenny won't use a DM.....

But i assume he is just trying to strengthen the squad.  Shelvey is not ready yet IMO.  And Spearing and Poulsen are not good enough.

Havent seen anything of this Dzeko is he any good? The price City paid for him is laughable and doesnt do anyone any favours, theres only so many players they can buy you can only start a game with 11 players but its getting ridiculas now.

If City wanted Suarez they would have bought him and paid over the odds to Ajax but they dont want him or need him, so Ajax are acting the goat expecting us to pay 30 million for him.

So is Holloway with his 14 million valueation of Charlie Adams.

I think Kenny see's Adam as an integral part of a team built in his own image ....that is .... Liverpool players who are  all comfortable on the ball ,and will gel playing as a unit ...I personally think Adam can perform a similar role to the one Steve McMahon held in a very formidable Reds team .... and I have more than an inkling Dalglish has the same train of thought as all us auld @rses  who actually had the good fortune to stand on the Kop  and watch one of the greatest teams in the world ..... Charlie Adam will be a player Kenny will be desperate to buy

lets not forget that Gerrard aint gonna be around for ever. Adam is a bit younger than Stevie and maybe could be a player to pick up the captaincy in years to come.

Loved Big Jan he was the complete footballer ,an absolute magician on the ball ...Xabi is the only player to ever come close to his range of passing .... but I do like Adam and I think our fans need to realize the  impact another player who can orchestrate our midfield would or could have on the team ...
Adam is a quality player ...and that much has been identified by the gaffer

We do not have the money to compete in the transfer market, these new owners do not have a lot of money, in order to go a buy big players, we need to sell players from our dead stock which it won't worth much!!. Kenny was trying to hold on to Babel by yesterday, and today he is forced to sell him. We would be lucky if we can secure C. Adam signature because he will be a big plus to our average squad, I sincerely hope we can get him, I think Blackpool would accept £8M for him, that if we have the money for him and we could do it out the sell of Babel!

Complete joke, and the way they are acting over us putting in a cheeky bid is laughable. Just seen Karl Oyston state they don't unsettle players by going to the media when in fact a week or 2 ago they openly admitted interest in my local rag regarding Adam Hammill, and now doing exactly the same we are doing with George Boyd and Mackail-Smith at Peterborough.

Demented hypocrites. Think the divs need to rid themselves of this amnesia they are suffering with.

Talk about irony -

OliverKay Twitter "Blackpool chairman criticises #LFC for "scuttling off to the press" over Adam rather than negotiating privately"

Wasn't it Holloway who started talking about Comolli's phone call to the Blackpool chairman whilst doing his press conference.

Hypocrites.
