Bad Bob wrote:We've seen notable improvements in the play of Mereiles and Johnson under Kenny.  Two quality players who had lost their way a little bit until he arrived.  He's also giving kids like Kelly and Shelvey some real belief that they have a place in the side.  With Torres hotting up again it looks like we are starting to see some green shoots of recovery under Dalglish.  Add a few signings in the next week and we'll be pointing back in the right direction once more.

Hopefully, that's the case.

The thing I enjoyed most about yesterday was the fact that they were getting bodies into the box. A good few times Liverpool had 4+ men hovering around the goal mouth. They looked like a different team for long spells.

Mind you, Wolves did give away a lot of space, but the trick is to use it when you see it.

Dirk.

"It comes close to the Dutch style. Playing with early pressure on the opponents and a passing game with the ball low on the ground. Not all those long balls anymore"

Now thats what were talkin about

totally agree Nanny, its early doors but its sure as hell promising! If Kenny can get players he wants as well it would be fantastic. Hopefully we'll have someone/two coming in before the window closes

For the first time in a long time I'm actually feeling quite enthusiastic about football again.

I think the team of Dalglish and Clarke will work, I like what I'm seeing so far.  We simply don't have enough depth or quality in the squad right now, but they'll get enough out of this set of players to get us comfortably finishing in the top half of the league.  A couple of players now would be good, but if we have to wait til the summer so be it.

If the team shows good progress from now until the end of the season the owners will leave Dalglish in charge.  I'm certain of that and in an ideal world I'd love to see it happen.  Fingers crossed.

I can only imagine through clenched teeth ,where we would have been this season if the job had been given to Dalglish from the very start,
it was a massive mistake putting Hodgson in charge .....Kenny has taken our severely trodden on moral, and is slowly making us feel special again ....and for that alone I pray the owners deem him the man to carry on the legacy where he left off all them many years ago

LONG LIVE THE KING

I am begining to believe it was karma
Hogson was the right person to take the sh'it after Benitez was sacked. He was the perfect victim for all the bile and hatred that people needed to unload on an easy target.
The danger would have been if KK had come in and not be able to turn it round straight away. He would have had to take the sh'it and lost his legendary status for his failure.
I am so happy things have turned out this way and hopefully KK will be the manager for a long, long time

I will buy into the whole return of the king and miracles can happen thing but football is a results game. If we hadnt have got at least a point against wolves there would have been unrest. A failure against fulham and I believe there would have been rumblings. Of course he would never have got the abuse Hodgson did but he was always going to have more time and support than probably anyone.

Hodgson was put in by the VERMIN they didn't want a manager who would stand up to them.thats why Rafa went. Kenny wanted the job but the vermin didn't. Had nowt to do with pulson etc. Now we are in a new era. Tie kenny era. THE GOOD TIMES ARE RETURNING
