No he wouldnt be you however would, apart from sticking up for Roy you and others are probably fuming because you wont be able to say Kenny OUT !!!

no i would not, i was the one asking for fan to give him a chance to build a team. some seemed to think that he could walk in at win all the games , that was never going to happen, as i said before even god would have a hard job turning this lot into a winning team.

Kenny needs the fans to back him but he also needs the fans to understand that he like roy is working with players that are not up to it, untill he gets new players all he can do is to try and give them a bit of confidence and hope for the best.

you ciggy have been saying for the last 3 years its not the manager, them roy come in you say its the manager......what you going top say now?

you change your mind like the wind, face the facts, Rafa built a :censored: team, Roy was not up to fixing it and Kenny is going to find it hard.

we need new players NOW!

. We all know we need new players, I don't think anyone can deny that but our squad is still far far superior to the like of Blackpool, Wolves, Northampton, Wigan, and a 65-70% of the rest of the Premiership so we NEVER should have been in this position. Hodgson didn't fight the fire, he used the wrong bloody extiguisher and made it a ton worse. The form and confidence of our squad is absolutely wrecked. It wasn't like that before the season started. you remember how everything was rosy? Toores commits, Gerrard commits, we signed Joe Cole. Everyone happy. Well it's a bloody mess now but you seem to be suggesting it was pretty much inevitable no matter who was in the hot-seat but I disagree. Torres head didn't drop right now, he's just full of anger and frustraion and it's boiling over. That's what happens to top players at top clubs when things go wrong.[/quote]
Good post that Scott .

Yeah you and others blamed Benitez for the whole time Roy was here and absolved Roy of any blame what so ever!!!!

I like you. Honestly
But you are so childish its unbelievable
We are in a bad way and your inability to understand why causes you to rant hysterically and start stupid arguments.
I will say this only once. Rafa fu'cked up. He lost the plot and sent the players loopy too. Hodgson came into a virtually unstoppable train wreck and couldnt cope. He halted the decline slightly but wasnt the answer. KK has now inherited this mess and has to do something miraculous to keep us in he top half of the table, never mind the top six. All those who were ecstatic at the return of KK failed to see the extent of the disaster we are curretly in and got carried away by the sacking of Hodgson, as if this was the cure to all our ills.
Newsflash. Hodgsons gone and we lost away. Again.
The fault is in the squad. It always has been for at least 2 seasons. Kennys job will be to address this and try, I say try, to motivate the players into believing they are good enough to be in the team. We will soon see if he can or not. But if he doesnt start doing this soon we will be on the slippery slope to the championship before we know it.

I don't think so mate, it's more hope than expectation allied to an absolute belief that Hodgson was not the man for Liverpool Football Club.

THERE ARE A LOT OF MEMBERS ON HERE THAT THAT PUT THE BLAME ON ROY, none on Rafa.

Rafa built the team, Roy tried to fix it but was not up to it, not many if any were happy that he got the job, but some understood why he got the job.

what has got me is the members that change they mind all the time, its not the managers fault, its the team, its not the team its the manager......now they are saying its the team.

theres being fickel...then theres just being thick.

You wanted him out before he even arrived, and I dont change my mind like the wind I went feckin beserk when Roy got the job, and I am still going beserk with the absolute fuck up he made of it. !!!!

Investment in the squad is needed, but I wouldnt have give Roy a tenner never mind ten million to invest in sh!te players not one single signing has worked out, none of them. And now we are stuck with them.

Grow up Cigs, everyone gave Rafa YEARS, and he had his time and moved on.

Everyone knows twit and tw@t ruined the club as well

Get over yerself, and EVERYONE stop bringing Roy and Rafa into all threads, neither were up to the task in the end... now we got King Kenny, see if he can do any better

For the last three years i think you will find that some of us have blamed them two and the damage they caused and would eventualy leave us in, Roy was there appointment is that not true,
Put it this way Lakes i feel much better being in the fight were in with Kenny in our corner , the man has taken a couple of training sessions and i believe he will sort it , you can see already we are much better going forward . I dont know what that Roy an his mates were doing on the training ground but our players need to learn how to get back there first touch, I have never seen so many players {THIS SEASON ) take so many touches of the ball ,

Roy wasnt right for this club and you know it, stop goin on about it !!!!

and you have complete faith that Kenny will pull us through a relegation battle?  Because i don't!

Well you should do. Our home form is too good to get us relegated.

20 points at home this season (2 points per game). That matches Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea to a lesser extent.

Based on our current home form alone we should accumulate another 18 points.

For us to get relegated we would have to not win again away from home. IMO I cannot see us not winning another away game this season.

but you said the only reson that our away form was bad was down to roy?

fans seem to think that Kenny could come in and win all the games....never going to happen with this lot of players.

away games must start to be won, i dont think we can win all our home games with this lot.

Not the only reason but a massive factor. If the players aren't capable enough on talent alone to win away it falls on the manager to apply to correct tactics and selection. Hodgson got this wrong on almost every away day.

We developed a fear of losing as opposed to a desire to win.

I believe that in the eternal optimist that is Dalglish and Clarke's excellent coaching record our away day blues will reduce somewhat. Our home form will remain solid, especially as it was largely unaffected even when Hodgson was here. With the crowd behind the manager and the team it should be even better.

ah Newkit's back to normal, was getting scary when everyone was talking football with renewed optimism :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

got to make do by the look of things. Players bought in January are usually below standard. I want to believe we'll sign someone really good this window but I don't see it happening. Here's hoping Kenny pulls a rabbit from the hat but in a January window, I doubt it
