Why he was ever so vocal along with Carra in getting The Hodge in, you reap what you sow.

Does it really need answering?

He was fed up with Benitez along with the majority of Liverpool supporters at the time.

The mistake was thinking any change was a good change. I hold my hands up to that also.

Purslow probably has to take the ultimate blame as he could of made a much more sensible caretaker decision in Dalglish.

Are you starting to have doubts about our new owners? I am because Purslow and Broughton said they where the RIGHT people and ROY was.

If he is not sacked before the weekend then I worry about a Gillett & Hicks part two scenario all over again.

10 thousand seats empty 5000 of those where season ticket holders, are they going to re-new if he is still here?

No they wont Fenway better get their act together and fast !!!

I'm surprised they have left him in charge for this long. Was just listening to 5 live and Lawro was talking about the attendance for new years day. 35k roughly? Alarm bells are ringing.

yeh thats true Bav, it was 35 thousand odd

then Roy in the interview after the game thanked the fans for forgiving the Wolves performance and coming out and supporting the lads. 10,000 empty seats  :D

Just now on twitter from LFC

Great support from our travelling fans at Ewood Park tonight. Call 0845 234 4567 to have your say on match on This Is Anfield on LFC TV

:no

What else are they gonna say I suppose.

why must you be so patronising?

Lakes, Roys sh!t, just accept it

some feel there is nothing wrong with the team and its just the manager, its more than that and always has been.

yet you post - best blame Roy for Gerrard missing a pen' - that provokes responses Lakes and does nothing to stop the petty arguments that go on in every thread.

anyway - where do we go from here? Time to give Roy the chop. If he's in charge when we go to Old Toilet I'll cry

I do have to agree with Penguins tho - your attitude to Roy is stark contrast to the one you show'd our previous boss and let's face it, not that much has changed has it?

just trying to get some to understand that we need new players and qwe will win nothing with the players we have, need a clear out, players and manager.

the club should have sacked Rafa this time last year and buy now we would have the right manager in place that can re build our club, not firefighter managers, real managers....that buy real players, not players that have rusted on somes bench for a year or are so unfit theu can not play for their new club for most of the year.

LOL.

you can't make it up

Yeah, I got a laugh out of that, that was a bit OTT Cig.

We'll see what they do after this latest shocker. If they don't grow a set and sack this ballbag before the weekend at the latest, then she might not be too far off. They should have sacked him a month ago, but let it spiral out of cotrol until the new year. Wolves was the absolute last nail that anyone with half a brain could see he had to be sacked, but no. If he stays for another few games, we could find ourselves in a relegation fight at the end of the season. He must get f*cked off NOW. We'll go down if he stays.

OTT ciggy

No it isn't OTT. We were in a world of trouble when we had the yanks and it was imperative we acted fast to get back on track as soon as Fenway took control. IMO it was a big mistake not to sack Roy and start over. Regardless what's done is done and he has surely managed his last game for us.

Let's get someone decent in, move onwards and upwards and as quick as possible forget about the soon to be memory that was Hodgsen.

i undestand why he got the job, as i said to you at the time, there were no other managers that would take it has they had job and to leave their job to work for our owners would be a silly thng to do...but Roy on paper could do things with no money. a firefighter manager, keep th club up and hold on for a year for the money to comein andif he ha done well let himbuilda team.

the truth is thathe team is not up to it just as much as te manager is not,
new manager new team if we are going to stay up.

You must be joking right.

NESV will clearly make a change, most in jounalistic circles have had tips of NESV approaching agents of managers in Europe.

If anything we need them to ensure the next appointment is correct. This season is a write off. There is no CL or EL next season, not if it means placing a league position to achieve it.

The LAST thing we want is a knee jerk Purslow style appointment again. That said there would be no harm in removing Hodgson and placing Dalglish in charge temporarily.

Seriously, I don't care who was right and who was wrong about Roy.  We're all Liverpool FC supporters here and we HAVE to agree - That sweet old man has to go!

Lots of words get written here but using 'Mong' is just vile.
