He was fed up with Benitez along with the majority of Liverpool supporters at the time.

The mistake was thinking any change was a good change. I hold my hands up to that also.

Purslow probably has to take the ultimate blame as he could of made a much more sensible caretaker decision in Dalglish.

no matter who is put on the pitch, nothing changes.  That's down to coaching and tactics.  Northhampton, Wolves, Blackburn(with a caretaker manage :glare: )  barely  shots on goal.

Yep,

should have went for Kenny as a caretaker until the new owners arrived, it would have been the most sensible thing to do

yet you post - best blame Roy for Gerrard missing a pen' - that provokes responses Lakes and does nothing to stop the petty arguments that go on in every thread.

I do have to agree with Penguins tho - your attitude to Roy is stark contrast to the one you show'd our previous boss and let's face it, not that much has changed has it?
