now, yes i have said things about our old manager but never as nasty as what has been posted about Roy.

I wish the team the best who ever the manager is and as with Rafa i wish to be proved wrong about what i think he can do for the club.

as for tonights game, he is damed even if he wins...why

well if he picks a full team and we win but get beat by man u at the weekend some will say he should have rested key players.

if he rests key players tonight and we get a draw or get beat then most will say he got it wrong and should be sacked.

yes there are fan on here that wish to club to get beat tonight....they know who they are and shame on them.

good luck team and Roy tonight.

Thing is, Lakes, that many Liverpool supporters never recognised him as manager in the first place. Me included.

And that gives people the right to mock and disrespect the manager of LFC?
Very offensive and inconsiderate to those of us who accepted him as the current manager

Who said he was manager of LFC?

that's the whole point though. You have admitted that from day dot you didn't want him, and that's when the abuse started with quite a lot of people towards him, which just ain't on.

I see every manager we have as our manager, and he gets my support... he does need to be gone now though for the future of the club, not results wise, but the fans need to get back to being the best in the world, not the crossdressing monty pythoin sketch that they have become

Now, hold on there - just because I made my opinion clear that he'd be a disaster from the outset, it didn't mean I came out all guns blazing towards him. I kept schtum as a mark of respect for a while, that is until he started to blame players, fans, and generally everyone else apart from himself for the monumentous f*ck up job he's done. Not only this, but his attacks on the previous manager, and the likes of Frank Rijkaard for no apparant reason whatsoever but to cover his own back really did leave a sour taste in my mouth. The gloves came off then. He deserves all the stick he gets.

Why in the name of all things holy have we got in another Roy thread?

2nd last page of the original thread in case you never got too see it.....

Is anybody else having problems with this thread ...ie last page or two doesn't load

if it persists would anyone object too a new thread being created and this one being locked or would such action be deemed as "power crazy moderators acting in there own selfish interests without care for the poor minnions"

makes sense it was annoying the other thread having to go back 2 pages every time.

Yeah, he really should say sorry for thinking we were Fulham or trying to turn us into them. He should apologise for the state of the football he served up and for breaking all kinds of records...the wrong kinds.

One can't imagine the hurt you feel at this moment......

Fancy some cheese, anyone :upside:

Dont you worry about me matey, Im not upset anymore.
Let the selfish, ignorant beauts have their way.
Que sera, sera...

Are you saying you accepted Roy as Liverpool manager because you felt.....
1) he was good enough,
2) the best around or
3)anything but the other guy will do

Now your resigned to the fact that it's none of the above and it's because other "fans" undermined him.

What possible selfish reasons would anyone want Roy to fail
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW SHINING AT THE END OF EVERY DAY.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW AND TOMORROW IS JUST A DREAM AWAY.

who's this German guy being linked with the job anyway? I've never heard of him, Hoffenheim's old gaffer...?

Were SSN just showing his conference or were they reporting rumours this game might be his last? or both?

I appreciated Roy's budgie impression against Newcastle - truly impressive stuff :D
